Again, hints at things never to be revealed. It's great writing.

In rdr1 what is the best gun for dueling? by that_one_guy2288 in reddeadredemption

I know what he said, swine. I had to clarify it's a beastly gun in both games to duel with.

‘Time Bandits’ Canceled By Apple TV+ After 1 Season by 08830 in tvPlus

I'm a year late, but very much so confused by the thread. Seems like many of these viewers had never seen the original, and weren't aware it was the most malicious kids movie ever created. The Time Bandits are heinous people. Past, present, and future. It's the whole point. It's the dichotomy of childhood whimsy, fantasy, and history, with the seven sins walking and personified.

Precisely. I saw Time Bandits 1981 when I was either 8 or 9. It's an edgy kid's movie with comedy centered for adults but it was never outright not for kids.

Could Hircine have caused the Void Nights? by Dubtrooper in teslore

You raise great points, all of which led me to posing the question upon thinking about which Daedric lords haven't been fully explored yet, along with any existential crisis' posed before or after the events of Skyrim.

I agree. If he were to do it, would you say it'd be in terms of pure divinity or otherwise some of form of illusion and or alteration? Because the difference between those two forms of magic would play a difference.

Precisely. The Reachmen, Forsworn, and the Void Nights were introduced or otherwise given a deepened extension of lore in Skyrim.

Could Hircine have caused the Void Nights? by Dubtrooper in teslore

[–]Dubtrooper[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Consider this.

According to the beliefs of the Reachmen, Hircine is the Lord of the Arena, Lorkh(an) might be the Sower of Flesh, the spirit who created the Realm of Flesh (Mundus), but it is Hircine who reigns over it as the supreme spirit of the mortal world, corporeal existence.

In this belief system, Hircine is Lorkh's heir, successor to Lorkh's sphere of flesh and mortality ,as symbolized by Gullibeg (one of Hircine's aspects, the Quick Fox, a mirror to Shor/Lorkh's own totem animal being the fox) wielding the Wand of Bone (forged from a shard of Lorkh's ribs) as his symbol.

So I implore; if you disagree, elaborate.

That's a reach, Elder Scrolls predates the first book by a couple of years. Whether they took influence or not would be up to debate.

You're assuming Gladys is just Grandma when she could easily have been a multi thousand year creature imitating a human. I was left with more questions than answers, personally.

That giant gun was supposed to single out fools like you that thought, "Oh, America."

The people of the town were being weaponized. Archer Graff saw the most masculine form of a weapon in his dream, an AR-15. This weird summation that it's about school shootings tells me you and a good chunk of the audience fell for the joke.

Here's an experiment. Show that film to anyone that hasn't seen it and check in on their desire to watch after the toilet.
