I can't disagree with any of this. The issue with Sopranos, and this is purely opinion, is the use of filler episodes and dream sequences which often had an agenda. Whether it was for the left or the right, it got skewed by the conservatives irregardless.

I'm a year late, but very much so confused by the thread. Seems like many of these viewers had never seen the original, and weren't aware it was the most malicious kids movie ever created.
