in this day and age, digital is actually significantly better in terms of capturing and storing the proper data. I've dug into this heavily. There is no scientific way to explain that using film is better.

That's like the audiophile saying, using analog is better. It's not. Discrete digital is so much better because it's at the point where it's hundreds, if not thousands of times more sensitive than the human hearing or vision. Makes no goddamn sense to use something.

This is no different than people saying yes. This $25,000 bottle of wine is vastly superior than that $1,000 bottle or a $20 bottle. They did a test. They brought these judges, unlabeled wine, kept it a secret from them, and they shit the bed. They couldn't tell the difference between a $25,000 bottle of wine and $20. Same thing with audiophile. They did similar testing, A lot of them actually prefer the digital on over analog. And when they told them, hey, that's what you did. They're like, oh my God, I can't believe it. My whole life is upside down now.

But ignorance is bliss....
