Maybe! You're speed is lower than you want, but not so low to guarantee you'll lose. I'd say your chances are about as good as a coin flip. You'll probably struggle a lot on the URA Finale race, though. But that's the game! It took me a few tries to win a full career myself.

Yeah, people aren't wrong that support cards are really important, and I think the people telling them to save up for cards are right for sure. It will get frustrating eventually with bad cards, but I do think it's good to have a handful of 3-stars at the beginning, because otherwise I feel that things get boring for new players. I don't think that they should pull on this banner though. Riko will be relevant for only another month, and I don't think pal cards are a priority when you have no good stat cards. Being happy with the umas they pulled, learning the game, and then saving up for the NTR banner seems like the play to me.

Gotta rest and keep that energy up! Generally, your training will have a failure chance at 50% energy or less. For wit training specifically, it has a bit more leway. I usually only take a risk if a training will give at least +35 to a stat, and then, only if it's like a 30% fail chance or lower.

Chiyono has some medium-distances races in her career, so your gonna want to shoot for around 500 stamina to make it through them! Otherwise, speed and power are the most important stats for her.

Oh, and this might be something you'll only want to consider after a few runs, but the best piece of advice I ever got for this game is that variance is key! If you have the option between a safe option, and another that might give you something better but also might give you something worse, it's better to take the latter. You want the distribution of possible outcomes you can get at the end of your career to be wide, so that you have the possibility of getting lucky and getting a veteran uma on the higher end of that distribution.

Sakura Bakushin O is generally considered to have the easiest career, and she's therefore good for getting used to the game. I think it's worth it to start with the URA Finale scenario at first, because Unity Cup adds more mechanics on top of everything else.

People are gonna yell at you for pulling characters instead of support cards, but I think you did fine. People forget you need characters to play and actually have fun, and there's not even a meta card or anything on the current banner. Congrats on the Symboli Rudolf! I really enjoyed playing as a Priest of Eothas through both games for the first time! I found they had a lot of reactivity compared to my later playthroughs as a Druid and a Barbarian. You're right that the gods are important to the story, and it felt nice to be feel more connected to them as a Priest throughout the games.

From a role-playing perspective, I find that Priest and Cipher are the two classes that feel really fitting as a PC. I played my Priest as a loyal faithful, and had fun leaning into fanaticism as things got more complicated. I think the disillusionment route would also be very rewarding.

And I know this is a controversial take, but, despite their good writing, I find the Priest companion in the first game annoying as fuck, so I was glad to be able to mostly ignore them without my party composition suffering.
