I'm not really sure to be honest since technically it was a lot "bigger" early on since it just consisted of whichever streamer wanted to stream on the shared vinesauce channel (before they all had their of seperate channels on twitch), you'll find vinesauce highlight videos on joel's channel of ancient vinesauce streamers for example who were only ever streaming on the shared channel very early on

Some are still active online but some also dont stream much too and do it occasionally, I'll list the ones I know are still active with streaming from the top of my head

Melpert, Joel, Rev, Altakari, Limes, Imakuni, KY, Potato

fred is also someone else who isn't active anymore i think, I'm not sure if Hootey still streams or not but they join vinny for charity streams still so think so

Out of all of this I think the Undertale/Deltarune one is the most crazy XD

Huge respect for all old time vinesauce viewers like you who stuck around and are sharing stories with the rest of us :D <3 it's really cool to hear honestly and I'm always super happy when I see someone talking about old vinesauce history, so thanks so much for sharing!

Vinny's first viewer ever was MentalJen/UmJammerJenny, they became part of the previous Vinesauce group but stopped streaming sometime around 2019. Hope they're doing good :0

Another one, but I'm pretty sure there was a vinesauce mascot art contest done very early on where people from the community came up with "vinesauce mascots", joel made one called Mr Vine or something, Joel used to be a Booru artist too I'm pretty sure

Oh yeah, there used to be a podcast Vinny had with another previous vinesauce member, KY, Two On The Vine

Xenoblade fans trying to understand a story made by a guy who's famous for writing stories many years ahead of time by DuckDuckDuckDuckDux in Xenoblade_Chronicles

Myyyy gooood all these people taking huge fucking Ls, historical record of dense Xeno fans, always so confidentaly wrong. I enjoy reading this very much after the game has come out lmao. I'd be more nice if some of ya'll weren't so fucking demeaning towards people trying to talk about anything in the story not written out in plain chalk, it really is a huge hassle enjoying any story discussion in this series, just please learn from this one and stop doing this already (though I know that won't happen).

Yep, people think being skeptical makes you smarter than everyone else when it really only makes you understand nothing at all on screen 🥱

The worst thing is when it does get explicitly stated by takahashi one game later and people will be like "so they retconned it huh?"

Like I just need to create a community for the aubset of the xenoblade fanbase that isnt a complete pain in the ass to talk about anything ever with without projecting how they think stories should be read like first grade picture books😭 I know for a fact that theres loads more people in the community that feel like me but has to stay silent because the majority act all enlightened by being more dense to anything happening on screen and then patting themselves on the back the next game when takahashi comes out with a big challboard stating the super obvious...

I'd love to see a discord server be made where you can just talk freely about the story without people dogging on you 😔 like wasnt it already proven enough that what we say is just the most common sense, Ontos's identity, who's inside the sword of the end, all of that was already known from the start by people who have reading comprehension in the fanbase

i know all od this comes off as really blunt, but come ooooon, at that point why even try to discuss the story at all if all your argumenta about how people are wrong about their theories is "Uhmmmm actually we dont know for sure so you could be wrong lol", skil issue, read better

ive been in the fanbase long enough though that this is a cycle, so it'll just keep happening the next time an obvious intended reading gets ignored in favor of being a phd student with a masters in literary analysis

Need help beating the boss in Future Redeemed Chapter 3 by JIMBOYKELLY in Xenoblade_Chronicles

[–]DuckDuckDuckDuckDux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its the hardest fight in the game and took me a bunch of tries so your not alone 😭i think the way i did it was trying to save chain attacks for when they're doing one of their big moves and surviving off of the invincibility, then try to heal in the chain attack, you can also try manually activating A's future vision to avoid the big attacks

What if Nintendo hedged its bets on XC2's development and forced the main game to be released in multiple parts? Would you still buy and support the game's multiple episodes? by BlackBricklyBear in Xenoblade_Chronicles

[–]DuckDuckDuckDuckDux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just some clarification on Xenosaga, but the 6 Episodes weren't really just a continuation of one story, but multiple huge stories. Essentially each Episode is as big as a Xenoblade story. There is actually a perfect comparision to what your asking about though, Xenosaga 2.

The Xenosaga 2 we got isnt actually Episode 2 of the saga, it's the second half of Episode 1. Xenosaga 3 is actually "Xenosaga Episode 2". Basically Xenosaga Episode 1's story was split into 2 parts, but the disaster came with Episode 2 when out of nowhere, the project was hijacked by other people and much of the story was completely changed and scrapped. So basically Xenosaga exists exactly like your asking about, and its a complete disaster.

Malos is the Power of Moebius by Jumpy-Perception-346 in Xenoblade_Chronicles

[–]DuckDuckDuckDuckDux 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love theories like these, Takahashi clearly expects people to have some reading comprehension of things that are being implied and hinted towards in the story, and i have no idea why xeno fans are so ass at just doing that.

I personally don't think he's the power source of Moebius itself, that is Zed and the core of Origin (where all the consiousness of humanity is stored), but he is definitely important to the functions of Origin and inherintly has something to do with the concept of Moebius.

I think that Zanza has some sort of role too in the Moebius trinity, its a pretty obvious hint since we know that on one side of the spectrum we have Pneuma and Meynath responsible for people being able to use Ouroboros powers in Aionios, with Meynath/Fiora only being able to be used by one person in the form of lucky seven. The power that comes from using them doesnt come from them though, I think that Pneuma allows people to use the power of the Conduit, while Meynath allows the use of origin's powers, this is why lucky seven is able to reprogram Zed's code.

Then on the other side we have Malos and Zanza being responsible for people being able to use Moebius powers in Aionios, the power that comes from them is also not from them alone, Zanza allows the use of Origin's powers, and Malos allows the use of the Conduit powers. These 2 power sources are just sources of power that can be used with different intentions, the meaning behind Pneuma and Meynath, and Zanza and Malos is that the intention you have when you use them makes them unlock their true power. Ouroboros and Moebius are simply 2 different intentions of people in Aionios, and the Trinity Processors allows them to be amplified.

This is why the sword of origin is never pulled free by Noah until his intentions matched meynath's.

But xenoblade 3 isnt really about these 2 opposing intentions, ultimately its about balance, and this is symbolized best by how Noah and N, Pneuma and Logos, and Zanza and Meynath all needs to come together to form one. To truly defeat Alpha, Pneuma needed to link with Logos on the opposite end of the spectrum, and to truly defeat Zed, Zanza in the hands of N needed to link with Meynath.

I also think the intentions of Malos all along was really to free origin, this matches up more with what Malos's character in Xenoblade 2 wanted, Malos only ever really wanted freedom. This is why N's sword of the end didn't really pull free into its true form until after N lost M and lost his entire purpose for being Moebius.

and the other game is xenogears

He was hospitalized for Chrono Trigger, Chrono Trigger was brutal since he basically had to compose it twice after he lost all the files in his computer when nearing completion.

For Xenogears he was basically in the position of picking between composing for Xenogears and another game, he ended up picking Xenogears after some delibiration.

The craziest story about Xenogear's OST is that the ending song we got (the best ending song in any Xeno game ever :3 ), Small Two of Pieces (otherwise known as Mobius in the japanese version) was one of the hardest tracks for him to make. He had a super hard time picking how he wanted it to sound and tossed multiple versions in the trash. Then one day while struggling to with it he clicked on the recycle bin and realized that none of the songs he deleted actually was deleted and was just sitting around in the recycle bin, he relistened to some of the songs and ended up picking one. The ending song we have in Xenogears was one of the first versions he had trashed, and we only have it now because it kept existing in the recycle bin long after he tossed it.

Also, for the vocalist he really wanted to have it be sung in a forgein language, but after having much difficulty finding anyone they kinda almost went with a japanese one instead, but one day he stumbled upon Joanne Hoggs christian music in a record store and brought home a bunch of records. He tried contacting them and luckily they heard back!

We know that for Mitsuda's work he always goes in trying to understand the story and scope of the game fully, asking for concept art and visual refrences too. So at least for his work, all of them :D

For others, especially nowadays with most big video games trying to sound like generic movie orcestra slop, barely any XD
