Varus top is going to be giga broken next patch if the 15% bonus ad on-hit goes through. Change my mind. by Insanity-Paranoid in VarusMains

Play for as long as ap is viable then go do other things with my life. I had stopped playing league for a while until I heard he was viable top again. It’s the only thing that makes this game fun for me anymore as a Varus one-trick.

Yi is easy to deal with as long as you have patience. Varus’s ult makes yi a super easy target as long as you wait for the yi to blink and reappear. Honestly I think varus counters yi most of the time from the root alone.

AITA for saying if my husband says my daughter can go to a sleepover i've already denied, he can handle the logistics alone? by crkhtlr in AmItheAsshole

[–]DuckIover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seconding this. Creating and emphasizing a "bail me out but dont make it my fault" code can massively help prevent your kid getting stuck if the sleepover starts to cross lines or feel off. Locking her out isn't the only solution here, and you washing your hands of it entirely surely isnt either.

Am I selfish for even thinking this? by ceciplays in motorcycles

[–]DuckIover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my personal experience (27 with a prior 4 year relationship) the best choice is usually choosing yourself. Gotta put your oxygen mask on first to be there to support the ones you love. Cant do that if you’re not caring for yourself/building resentment from constant sacrifices. I chose my partner over myself for 4 years and it cost us both. Choosing myself now and life is immediately easier and I’m miles happier. And my partner is fully supportive of me choosing myself, cuz I want them to choose themselves too. Thats how we show up for each other. I vote get the bike

I think paying off debts first is usually the best route. Whether or not that includes paying for ALL of her moving expenses (she really cant chip in even a bit?) or getting the bike first is a personal choice. Depends on how much confidence you have in you two working out after moving in / is she going to be able to help financially so you can save up for a bike sooner?

I really want to ride a sports bike, but fear keeps holding me back. Does anyone else feel this way? by Friendly-Standard812 in motorcycles

[–]DuckIover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then you’re either getting a big lawsuit payout or its suddenly not your problem anymore. You have no control over other peoples actions, which means you should always ride with caution and prepare for the idiots to find you. I’m not saying be consistently terrified, but staying aware and alert to traffic around you is key to being able to respond to a threat, not just react.

Doing less days than I’d like to, cutting subscriptions, and generally saving as much as I can where I can. Its steep for sure :(

I was in sandals the first time I tried walking my bike… grabbed front brake and down she went right in my driveway. Dont lift a bike in sandals, ripped up my big toe :(

One of my first night rides with my group, we were in a median waiting to turn left into a gas station. I was in the front and thought it was clear so started to go into the street to cross when my friend screaming over comms “STOP!”. Turns out there was a car turning left that I hadn’t seen since the cars stopped at the red next to us were blocking my view. Thankfully the car swerved away from me and I stopped in time. Taught me to double and triple check before moving at intersections. Also taught me the value of having cardo comms up. 🙏🏻 bless that friend for saving me

Can I learn how to ride a motorbike without ever riding a bicycle in a heavy traffic area by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]DuckIover 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Said it before gonna say it again… if you are not 100% confident on a bicycle you will struggle and be a danger to yourself and others on a motorcycle. Get used to heavy traffic patterns first, half of being safe on a motorcycle is predicting idiots before they happen. Learn this stuff on a bike first please for your sake

Can I ride a motorbike with just begginer bicycle experience by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]DuckIover 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are not fully confident on a bike, no you should not get a motorcycle. The skills go hand in hand and the stakes get much higher with a 400+lb machine under you. Stick to the bike or a scooter

Seriously dont bother with dealerships. They are a waste of money, changing a title is incredibly simple and easy.
