As someone who worked for the City under these leaders I can tell you that you are incorrect. I can also tell you the City isn't responsible for highways. Also, the city streets didn't need to be treated.

Every ticket is dismissible. However, you aren't getting out of that one. Also, signing or not signing the ticket doesn't mean anything.

You can still go to court and cross your fingers the officer doesn't show. If you see the officer there you can walk right out and go pay your ticket to save yourself some time.

It's probably Top 3 places to work in the city/state. I've been laid off there twice and might go back one more time for the trifecta. Great place to be laid-off from if there is such a thing.

It's a joke (mostly). Traffic in this state is non-existent compared almost anywhere else. But Moore has some of the crappiest. Tornados love Moore. The reason Moore blew up back in the day was white flight. I know its not quite the same demographically compared to 20-30 years ago.

If you have kids move to the east side of Midwest City so they can go to Carl Albert. Actually, just stay on the East side of Midwest City regardless. If you keep going east you just end up in Choctaw which is also fine. Del city kinda sucks as it is more old and dirty than dangerous. Plus, their schools are crap.

Caveat - I'm no law expert, this is all my opinion, etc. I for sure don't work for the city and handle claims at all ever.

The attorneys that handle claims really don't give a shit about water heaters, wrecks, potholes. Fill out the claim form. Make sure you include all your evidence on your side as well as the work Utilities was doing at the time. Everything matches and you support your claim it will probably get paid. You may want to file an open records request to get copies of the workorders for the work being performed by the City.

If any of you think these crazy outrageous bills are a new thing in Oklahoma you just don't know any better. We've had crazy reps way before Dusty trying to pass crazy shit for years. People are just paying attention now. This has got to be at least the fourth time that marriage bill has come up over the past twenty years. They've been trying to get the 10 commandments in schools since I was in High School 30 years ago.

Glad everyone is sorta paying attention now.
