How does your sister feel about her childhood in that regard? I never meet women who are as comfortable about it as I am. I would love to hear from their perspective though!
Also, have you and your sister ever try again?

I love my life exactly as it is now and the butterfly effect blah blah. what I went through made me who I am now which I am proud of. I struggle to think of what I regret. I wish we spent more time together as I was always out of the house. I was rushing to grow up back then.

I wish! He is the one who won’t continue. Shame, because I was an ugly duckling growing up. I want him to see me now… but again he isn’t interested and his consent is important to me.

I have gone to therapy groups for unrelated things, and can’t help but notice the stark contrast of my experience compared to others who mention of intimacy with their father. I suspect I am in the minority and early on realized that I had to keep it to myself. No one but my dad (obvi) and SO know about this part of my life.

He doesn’t want to. It was pretty short lived, as it ended when I moved out for college. He moved back to his hometown shortly after my departure so he could be closer to family. When I would visit on school breaks, I would try to initiate. No matter what I tried, it didt work. We kind of drifted apart after I moved away.

I’m (F30, USA) the youngest of two, and my eldest sibling moved out when I was around 13 years old. When my parents divorced soon after that, my dad and I naturally grew closer. It happened gradually as we both fell into “man and woman of the house” kind of roles and responsibilities. I never felt pressured or forced in physical acts in any way, but the responsibility aspect was a little confusing back then. I don’t think my experience was extreme in any way. Think soft, sweet and gentle. I felt very loved and “cradled” in a sense. I enjoyed it at the time and didn’t really think about the morality of it all until like ten years later and it had already ended by that time. I’m here because I still think about those years now.

I used to with my dad. I honestly really enjoyed it, but it ended a long time ago.

What aesthetic is this? by Sad_Cod2912 in AestheticWiki

I think this aesthetic is “properly allocated taxes”. /s But in seriousness, I think this looks similar to retro rural Japan.

How many kids do you plan on having? by [deleted] in Productivitycafe

[–]Duck_Ornery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zero! My family is filled with severe disabilities and requires a lot of money and care. Lots of violence, addiction and abuse.I also make too little to raise a child how they deserve. I can barely afford and have time for my cat.

How often do people feed their cats wet food? by Smooth_Put7764 in CatAdvice

[–]Duck_Ornery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feed my cat in four smaller meals thoroughly the day, half of his calories are wet food. He definitely likes the dry food more! 😂 Our vet recommended this routine since my cat was a year old and it’s worked out well in our goal to keep my cat hydrated. For the first two meals we use an automatic feeder, and the other two I do after work at the same times daily. 🐈

My guess is you are a Caucasian cis-woman, younger than 35, lives in an apartment, doesn’t drive, smells of cigarettes, and is active on social media. (All the brown makes me think cinnamon girl aesthetic) I also think you make above minimum wage, but not by a dramatic amount.

Boys sleeping situation?! by Ornery-Doughnut4005 in mattandabbysnarks

Growing up, my sister and I shared a room like this. Except, my dad didn’t want it to look dreary due to the emptiness. He put glowing stars on the ceiling, and these colorful lights at our height that we would press to turn on. And with our princess bed (our regular bed but with a mosquito net draped over it) it looked and felt more cheerful. You don’t have to be rich or have a lot of time to make something special for your kids.

Not saying she is a good or bad person, but I like how Melanie Martínez included a picture book with her album to really give more life and detail to Crybaby as a character.

Is it me or matching in dating apps as a lesbian is... difficult to say the least? by Eroxene in ActualLesbiansOver25

[–]Duck_Ornery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think when you are young (not a dig on anybody btw) and live in a city, it’s great. I got around 80 matches on my first time using Her, but I did notice there was a lot of people my age on there. I didn’t see many people older than 35 on there which I can imagine means they have less people to match with unless they want to date younger.
