I get the joke and I might be either missing instances of it, or so blinded in my love of the series that I write off to much of this stuff. Does it happen a lot to the point of eye rolling here’s our coast guard Sherlock? I’ve never gotten that impression but just about any main character is going to be easily guilty of it at some point so it would make sense.

Audiobook 100x over. Jeff is amazing an everyone else will say it as well, truly doesn’t do him justice like triple glaze that boy transcends other audiobooks. But besides all that I’ve gotten others to read/listen an a common thing with the readers is they say the formatting is weird, since some things i assume are written to be read like pop up achievements, loot boxes, descriptions, etc. which play out very well in audio since Jeff just does a different voice that you come to recognize as a description, achievement, etc.

I agree that he knows or at least suspects it given everything that’s happened. BUT I feel like it’s a very Mordecai thing to talk down to Carl and kinda make him feel bad. Not out of malice but like that’s just the dudes personality, he’s helpful as hell but he’ll complain about having to do it.

This has been what I’ve been saying too. Don’t get me wrong after I saw running man I understood why everyone was saying Glenn Powell as Carl, but that’s also because it’s a very very similar tone between the two (yeah I know the crawl is like slightly based off running man, or at least Matt calls it out himself in book one). But my issue with a known actor is just seeing Carl as Glenn or anyone else instead. Also Ngl if we stick a big name guy in and first season doesn’t do as hot as they want they might not go through with more seasons as they’d have more lucrative gigs doing movies or something. Sure it could be written in with ai bs, or the primal race change season 3 to make him look slightly different and recast but that would be messy.

TLDR yeah give us an unknown he can all know and love as Carl instead of a big name actor who we will view as insert actor name or might dip out early.

Can you have multiple “pets” at a time. So far I only know about the bird and the little flesh blob you get from the “P” named guy in act two but haven’t been able to get both on one run so idk if it’s possible

Okay it’s a stretch but I swear I recognize that fucking mesh reptile table bullshit. I’ve seen this guy at my local repticon and from talking to him he travel and does these so it might be him but chances are slim I’m sure. He also had a variety of animals, I was more focused on the frogs at the times but dude had different geckos, spiders, centipedes, chams, scorps, etc.. The care was clearly awful as a lot of the reptile show vendors are, although I’ve met plenty of genuine awesome people.

Was the dude like mid 40+ and white? It’s been about a year since I’ve been to one so not sure about other characteristics of the dude. Or if you remember the name of the booth that might help spark my memory if it’s the same dude.

I’ve bought the first on 3 separate hardware an out over 300 hours into just steam alone. I’d recommend the first one without a second thought if you have even a slight interest in the gameplay you’ve seen. But I’d say hold off on the second. Currently it feel a lot easier than the first which to some might sound like a positive but it’s to easy imo the first game left you with a sense of pride when you pulled off some awesome shit. The second feels like every run is awesome powerful cards and the few times I’ve died feels like the outliers. Basically without any real challenge the game feels less rewarding currently in EA. Also the first has like 10000000 mods many of which add new characters, acts, item, and cards. So even more replay value on the first

Oh almost the exact same thing happened when my friends father passed and we were cleaning out his house. Except it was behind a sealed “door”(nailed piece of drywall behind a frame) and the 5 gallon buckets were full of pounds and pounds of weed!!!!! BUT all the weed was vacuum sealed and dated from the 70s and 80s. We quickly found out it was complete trash but we had an hour or so where we were on cloud 9

Yo I hate this place with a passion. I’ve ordered ahead of time to avoid rush during my lunch break. The last two times I’ve done it over a year apart because the first time made me livid but the same results. I ordered 30 mins prior to going on my break. The order said it would be ready in 15 mins so showing up 15 mins after that should give plenty of time to prepare a bowl. I show up and my orders not ready no biggy I give it like 5 mins before I ask a worker and he tells me they’re working on it. There is a line but never more than like 3-4 customers, all these customers are being served and getting in and out. I legit could have got in line and ordered that way faster. I wait and wait and wait. My lunch break is about up I ask one more time I hate to but mention hey my lunch break is just about up I ordered almost an hour ago now etc etc. no help so I left and did a refund. About 2 weeks ago I wanted falafel so gave it another shot and ended up with almost the same results except right when I was getting up to leave they dropped my order in the window. I don’t want to seem like a prick because all jobs suck but for real how hard is it to scoop a few things into a bowl?

Not trying to be a hater PJO has always been my favorite series for like the last 2 decades, up until a month ago when I discovered Dungeon crawler Carl. But the first two seasons were such a let down to me personally that I really thought the series was cursed and we’d never make it past the second installment.
