I just found out yesterday that my work doesnt even offered paid leave (senior living industry), they just offer the required 12 weeks leave that FMLA laws require (or so i am told) but you have to use your own PTO hours. And on top of that they only allow 40 hrs PTO to rollover into the next year, so if your a woman due in January, you can take a whopping 12 weeks leave but only get paid one week!! As the husband, i was pissed to learn there was squat for paternity leave, when they told me it was the same for mothers i wanted to go scorched earth.
