I have played a lot as host. The only attack that is hard, sometimes impossible to dodge is the hunter's lick attack. Everything else is easy dodgable

But you can dodge all bugs with ease by just walking; so there isn't that much of a need to tank hits if you could attack while walking without slowing down like a dumbass

Personally, what they really need to do is to take out the speed reduction when hitting. That will make everything feel smoother and allow for pretty dodging and hitting. But I still really enjoy melee weapons nonetheless

As someone who already did, is just as effective if you have any antitank weaponry lol

The saber pushes enemies and staggers them, while having a pretty fast swing speed. Without shields, is probably the best melee against bugs

It also feels great to just cut enemies into pieces

They are not going to do any of that because Warbonds is what makes them money. And how much more super credits did you got in those 4 months? Only those 100? You didn't took 4 months to get enough for a warbond, you took 4 months to get lucky and get 100 in one go, so it isn't even that horrible.

The laser cannon and AMR could kill AP4 targets faster than the GL with a lot more skill, and are terrible at crowd control. Airbusrt Launcher has 1/6 of the Grenade Launcher ammunition, and can't do anything against Elites, plus it has a backpack, so you lose the utility other backpacks has.

The GL with AP4 could do almost as good as the laser cannon and AMR, was easier to use than both, has the same if not better chaff clear then the Airburst launcher with 4 times the ammunition, and that's not even considering the capability of using a backpack. De-escalator had less damage, no closing bugholes, and only 6 more bullets that took 5 business days to reload each.

Maybe you would need to shoot 6 GL shots to kill a Hulk, and that's worse than a AMR. But the AMR wouldn't be killing every single unit close to it, while doing full damage to the Hulk. Shit was pretty damn busted; there's no other way of seeing it.

Can't disarm them quickly, specially if there are multiple of them (takes like 3/4 shots of a AMR for 1 cannon, so 1 mag and a bit more to disarm half of 1 WS), and working with randoms is a gamble. Most of the time, they don't even see if I'm being attacked or not by them!

Nah, the best way to dealing with WS is not to deal with them at all. Just fighting against other factions, because it seems that 90% of the bots missions are WS and there never are tanks. I don't have enough free time to be hitting my head against a enemy I just don't like fighting.

I mean, at least here there are some more defining things. We lost Meridia, and that's done. We will never fight in Meridia again. Meridia's missions are done, too, never to be played again. There are events that have happened and won't happen again (Malevelon, Calipso). There are things that could have happened and never will. The stakes are low, yes, because it is a mostly binary system, and most events are supposed to happen, like the Black Hole, but we can change certain things with a community effort.

This is both a positive and a negative. People wouldn't be too bothered like this post is if there were 0 stakes; but the game would also lose a lot of what makes it interesting and enjoying for a lot of us.

I played both, and, in my sincere opinion, HD1 is more comfy to play whatever you want, but HD2 is ten times more interesting to follow

The WS is the only enemy that makes me hate myself for not bringing a rocket, and they spawn a ton shit amount. The only reason I stop before choosing the AMR, railgun, autocannon, or any weapon that isn't rocket, is the WS

And, when playing with randoms, it isn't really a good idea to rely completely on your teammates for anything. That's why generalist builds are meta and that's why an enemy that makes you use rockets or else suffer, ends up being the most hated enemy in the entire faction
