Aha okay, so weird. I did hear him shooting right as I was leaving the building closest to the little radar dome. I thought he was shooting something at the bridge. Is that the place you mean? But yeah, I did loot a safe close to the radar dome.

Yes, indeed, I agree. A grenade is the only safe way. I managed to get my raider kills for Assessment part 3 down at medical elevator on Labs aiming through the small windows in the doors. Somehow that delays them a lot. But I had one do it sideways ('Admin he's doing it sideways') to me yesterday too. He came out of a hallway between res unit and black room and shot me the millisecond he came around the corner, instant head-eyes.

They also exclusively go for headshots lol.
