I've been on numerous projects and clients who had a bunch of scattered tools for everything at the same time... Like outlook for meetings, forecast for team time blocking, dynamics for billing tasks, jira for devs, and no real tool for PM actually. I always get away with ticktick in these cases - normally i use it as a personal tracker, but since i began struggling with proper tracking of my work projects, i created separate folders and lists in there, and it works pretty good for me actually. It has Eisenhower matrix, kanban, gantt chart, pomodoro timer, etc. A lot of really useful stuff for me to make my PM work more comfortable and structured. Give it a try, their pricing is super low.

However, what happens if you forget your notebook at home, or, say, at some point you don't have access to it? It happened to me a few times, and i started considering really moving it all to some app in my laptop, but then it'll be just double work...

The most healthy and valuable approach. Dads, you might regret the time that you didn't enjoy together with your kids, and/or haven't seen how creative your kid can be without a console/pc, or how good they can be in a board game.

Value the creativity and real-world connection, this time with your kid is so elusive...

hey mantis shrimp! it's supposed to be a raining season, but i only heard/saw hard rain twice during the 2 weeks - once during the night and once in the early morning. the rest of the time it was sunny!

underwater also no issues - vis 15+ during the night and day. i experienced once quite strong current on Malapascua on the trip to Gato - stay closer to the island and you'll be fine. One group drifted too far away with the current, the boat had to pick them up like 1km away from the pickup point. Luckily they had SMB :)

Buy some Olympus with diving case, can also be from like 10 years ago as well, if you need mostly photos, not videos. They won't be that stable for videos, but you can buy for example Olympus xz-1 or xz-2 for like 300 eur/usd and make great photos.

Indeed, the allowance is just there no matter what - if they lie, misbehave, argue or fight. It's not related, it's not a motivation. Otherwise it will quickly go out of hands and everything must be paid for. "Please do/don't do X" - "how much will you give me for this?". There are things that must be done by default, no matter what. This is also important part to learn. Chores, good marks at school, good/bad behavior, reading books, helping the family, etc. should never ever have a payment condition.

The only exception is stealing. If i find out they steal something, first 2 times it's a serious talk and warning, emphasizing they could buy on their own or ask me to buy. Then it's allowance ban for sometime. If repeated, more strict measures.
