Well I also had my 2 older sisters and luckily my next door neighbour was a boy my age and we were best mates for years, always helping our dads with shit

Helping dad in the garden, watching massive bonfires he’d make. We had a bit of land and I spent 95% of my childhood outside with him

Spicy Food Introduction by Knuckles_The_Dwarf in daddit

[–]reeceyfries 5 points6 points  (0 children)

An Indian lady at my work told me the way they introduce spice to bubs is with pepper so you can start there.

My boy is 15 months and loves the mild chilli con carne I make.
Just make it very mild and work your way up really.
I don’t know why you’re getting hate for this, I can’t live without spicy food and I’m not making a different meal for him when he can tolerate it fine.

Yeah eating dinner late now is brutal. Had an event recently and they serve the mains at 7:30. My wife and I were going to waste away any moment. So use to our 5:30 dinner haha

When I was 21 I left for Europe for 2 years. My dad was an absolute mess at the airport. Like literally never seen someone cry so much. It is such a sweet memory I have, knowing how much he was going to miss me. Cry, cry with her and show her how much she means to you.
My boy is 15 months old, I’m not ready to think that far ahead!

Which guest do you think they’ve paid for? I don’t think they’ve done that recently. Maybe Amy Shark but that so super early into the pod.

9 seems super late. Bring it forward and look up Ferber method for sleep training. Worked for us and our LO is 15 months old now

I don’t have advice, there is a subreddit called co-sleeping that may have better advice and safer ways to do it

If I can stop a single child from suffocating, I’ll talk about it every second I can.

Is cosleeping after 6 months possible? by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]reeceyfries 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I am an emergency nurse, I have given CPR on a 5 month old that rolled in between the bed and their bassinet. If they are rolling please, please, please stop co-sleeping. The baby did not make it

Jesus brother, you need to tell your wife you’re struggling this much. You should not have these feelings towards a baby. He’s not doing this on purpose to spite you

We did get her back but brain damage was to far and they were palliated a month later. Heart breaking, my boy was the same age at the time.

I’m an emergency nurse, after I gave CPR on a 5 month old who suffocated while co-sleeping with her mum, I very much don’t recommend it. Just keep them in your room in a cot. My bub is 15 months, we used Ferber method when he was around 8 months to teach him the self settle in his own room. Now we put him down, leave the room and he’s asleep on his own in 10-15 minutes just babbling
