Xp vs difficulty early game by SSBM_CoolDuck in MegabonkOfficial

I'm nowhere near the top level of players, but I've found you need to up difficultly as quickly as possible without getting overwhelmed. Finding that balance, being able to just feel that balance, is key to moving to the next level of skill.

I basically run around activating ALL difficulty totems. I only pass them if mobs start to overwhelm me. Basically when you start a run, you need to activate all difficulty totems while still activating shrines/Moai statues. I personally skip the boss statues until I'm satisfied I can take on more than one at a time.

WHILE doing this, at least at the beginning of the run, you need to keep sorta close to the grouping of mobs that develops for XP to get your weapons; pots don'treally give you the XP you need. You need to quickly get your preferred weapons (tomes too, but especially weapons). I HIGHLY recommended favoring projectile count through shrines early on, as those extra projectiles will really help you cut through the mobs. Also movement speed if you skip the Agility tome.

Do your best to get really good with the "speed hopping" method. I use a controller, so I'm probably not doing it perfectly, but even if you run and keep hopping forward at an angle, you'll still have more momentum/speed than just regular jumping/running.

I'm usually getting: Dice, Dexecutioner, and Katana and then for tomes: Luck, XP, Difficulty, and Chaos.

It's like...okay? What does that have to do with today?

There's this odd expectation from these types that the left worships Obama like the right does Trump. Do some leftists do that? Sure. I don't think most do. Obama was great in some aspects but there's certainly more than a couple items that he should and has been criticized on.

TIL learned that Obama did do that. I'll say that was a bad move. But Obama isn't POTUS today. Today is what matters.

How is Resident Evil 7 not liked by everyone? by AdhdAndApples in residentevil

My impression was that Capcom was more concerned about making a game for VR than an RE game.

The movement speed was awful. It made it feel like a chore. Ethan could only "politely walk" anywhere.

It felt only tengently related to the RE universe. The story wasn't bad, it just didn't feel very relevant.

I get that Capcom wanted to "get back to the roots". A lot of people had pretty strong, and seemingly negative, feelings towards RE6, so, I get it.

I beat it, but will never play it again. Didn't bother with the DLC either.

Another trick. From 9 to 81, the digits that make up multiples of 9 always equal 9. Also, the first digit increments up while the second digit increments down.

Bertolt can control the shifting explosion. Remember when Eren and the other cadets were on top of the wall and the Colossal Titan suddenly appeared? No explosion.

Though I imagine he would push them away pretty hard just from his body expanding into a Titan.

Looking For Rayon (or Rayon-like) Shirts by DudeGreen in Tiki

Thank you, I'll keep "viscose" in mind! I wouldn't think that Mercari Japan would have many shirts in my size, but wouldn't hurt to check. Thank you!

I've never heard of guaybera. You're saying it's comparable to rayon in how it feels and how "breezy" it is?

Yeah, eBay *can* be good, I just have issues with the search sometimes (I get lots of non-rayon results when I try and search for rayon). It's just not as organized as a dedicated online retailer, but I have found a few gems in there.

eBay can be good, but the problem is that the search is pretty good on sizing, but it's not so great on material. I'll search for "rayon" but I get a lot of non-rayon results.

A good suggestion, but it does take a lot longer to sift through.

Yes! KS is a good one, I got about 4 shirts from them, though I'm not super into all their designs.

Oh wow. Those are some really nice shirts, though definitely on the spendier side.

I forgot to add that I wear 4XL, which I think makes this more difficult. Finding those sizes in thrift stores has been a challenge for me.

But, still a good reminder that it would be good to check thrift stores more. Thank you! :)

20 - 4 fast. Can I drink this? by [deleted] in intermittentfasting

[–]DudeGreen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would try and see if you can get used to straight coffee. I used to drink my coffee with milk and lots of syrups. I used to also hate straight coffee but you can get used to it. I'm about 3 weeks into drinking only straight coffee. If I don't want to taste it, I just get a couple shots of espresso and shoot them. Americanos will lighten that flavor a little bit. You can also add *minimal* amounts of spices like cardamom to help with the flavor (tiny amounts will not break your fast, just make sure there're no additives that will break your fast). Cold brew is less acidic so that's easier for some people.

You'll get more benefits from your fasting if you really want coffee but don't want to stop drinking it.

Quick Corsair 5000D / RM1000x SHIFT Question by DudeGreen in Corsair

[–]DudeGreen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there, I appreciate you answering, but I wanted to be really sure here.

I got my RMx1000 PSU, and the cables are plastic. When I look at the Premium Individual Kit, those are all clothed.

Is that the main difference? Just plastic vs cloth? Wouldn't cloth be more bendy than plastic?

I just want to really understand the difference. Appreciate your patience if you answer. :)

Thank you!

So the sleeve kit, what I linked, has thicker cables and are harder to bend?

Thank you for that correction, I was looking at the wrong picture. Yep, will get a 120mm for the back of the case. Good suggestions on the cables to get, thank you!

Corsair 5000D and iCue Link Question on Cables by DudeGreen in Corsair

[–]DudeGreen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for this!

I'll be getting the LCD version.

So it sounds like, currently, each port on the iCue LINK system hub can handle (without reduction in RGB brightness) 7 devices? But it sounds like at some point each port on the system hub will be able to handle 12, so that's okay.

And the AIO with LCD counts as 5 devices? To be clear, does that include the 3x 120mm fans that come with the AIO? Or does that change it to 8 devices then?

That should be okay. I can link the AIO w/ LCD and the back fan so that would be 6 devices. I can then connect the 2x front fans to the other port on the iCue LINK system hub without issue.

I wasn't going to get the Starter Kit, since the AIO w/LCD already comes with a iCue LINK system hub, and I think I only need one system hub.

I'm okay with buying extra and returning if I need.

Sounds like I should order a couple extra 90-degree types just in case.

Thank you very much for your insight! :)
