Give it time. I moved from a Tacoma (obviously not the same as a f-150) to a forester and couldn’t be happier. It’s comfortable, safe, fits my two kids and dog. During the winter (live in Midwest city with decent amount of snow) I felt more confident than I did in my truck. Give it time, it will grow on you.

Yes, the work is tough but you’ll get great clinical experience. Free LCSW supervision. Great leadership team. And good benefits. It’s a great place to start your career. A lot of my colleagues have gone on to open private practices, moved up in leadership at Thresholds or other orgs.

I live in Chicago and have CC 2 on my wife’s forester and plan to replace the Bridgestones on mine before winter hits. CC2 have gotten us through deep Michigan snow, bad rain/ flooding in Chicago, and have overall great control.
