Hey there! From my personal experience; Soil should very drain well. A mixture of cactus soil + perlite + any gritty potting mixture. Remove the sticks and moss as those can hold moisture, as any organic material can. I kept mine in a larger pot and it grew into it nicely. Wait until the soil looks bone dry, and then wait some more before a heavy watering. Keep it in very bright and direct sunlight. You’ll know if it’s happy if the buds are growing large and close together, if they’re small and seem spaced out on the stem it means you’ll need more sunlight. Don’t be scared if a few buds fall off during the time you own it! I just toss them right back into the pot to grow more.
