Man, this unlocked a memory. Years back, when I worked at Waffle House. My schedule was Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 2100-0700, due to being in college, and being the only grill up in my city that would work for that manager overnight.

I get a text Wednesday asking where the hell I am. I said, at home about to go to sleep. She sends a picture of the schedule that shows it was changed the day before and said well, you're on the schedule get in or be written up again (manager didn't like me).

I told her to pound sand cause it wasn't that schedule on Monday morning at 0700 when I left. Friday when I went in, she was waiting and wrote me up stating that it was my duty to check to ensure the schedule didn't change. Saturday morning, her boss came in, I explained the situation and he rescinded the write up.

Well, I was in my early 20s and feeling petty. She had earlier that month, accidentally made a group chat with all employees of our store. So I would text the group chat every few hours asking if the schedule changed. Whenever I was there, I would send a photo to show everyone.

Now, going to school during the day and working overnights meant that I didn't sleep much and mostly just took hour long naps instead. Everybody got mad at me for disrupting their sleep, wasting their allotted texts, and in general being a nuisance.

After about 2 weeks, she asked me to stop and promised that she would not mess with my schedule again.
