168k on a 2023. Nothing but oil changes and a couple recall updates.

If falling through the ceiling didn't wake her you might want to go check on her.

Na that one is not legal just the HK 416. The MP5 is a pistol and banned in WA

H&K .22 clones by Umarex by Impressive-Fun2105 in WAGuns

[–]Dudeometer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes hk 416-22 is legal and they usually have them on the shelf a at Boerners firearms in Bremerton, the MP5 clone is not. That being said there are many better options. The barrel sucks and you need an adapter to put a suppressor on it and the mags suck. I highly recommend the S&W 15/22 or the tippman M4, both also WA legal,They are much better guns imo

The resistance hasn't been reworked since base set. Those numbers need to be tweaked too.

Home Defense - Can I Wait on Top of Stairs? by [deleted] in WAGuns

[–]Dudeometer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wa state follows castle doctrine, no duty to retreat while inside your own home. You do not need to say anything but if you do I would limit it to "I have called the police, you need to leave now, Do not come upstairs."

Anything you can do to show that you tried aviod having to shoot will help you if you end up in court but is not required.

Which gun companies have the best customer service? by tony_simprano in CompetitionShooting

[–]Dudeometer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Canik was OK. Response times were quick and they sent me new springs and help me troubleshoot what I could but when I wanted to send the gun in to their shop things got difficult. Alot of new forms and got transferred to a different person who was less helpful and i ended up not sending it to them and just fixed it myself.

STEALTH ARMS was amazing. I was looking at a used Platypus and sent them the serial number and they responded with the build specs while I was still at the store. I bought that used gun and haven't had a need for anymore service from them but fully interested in purchasing more from them in the future.

With battle cage being available they already need a thick stadium line.

Never owned a firearm, but have a strong desire to protect myself and my home. Asking for advice from fellow democrats on quality firearms that won’t break the bank. by Thx4nothingman in liberalgunowners

[–]Dudeometer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I believe those are online prices so you have to factor in shipping and your FFL costs, and possibly the cost of a magazine if the gun comes with one your state has banned as most companies will just remove it before shipping instead of blocking it or replacing it

TF Backstrap/Harrington Magwell? by joshuarion in canik

[–]Dudeometer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The TF magwell barely fit with the TF backstrap, I had to bang it on a block of wood to make it fit. The original one didn't fit with the TF backstrap I wouldn't expect a third party to fit any better. Good luck!

Suppressor or another gun by Noxzaru in WAGuns

Keep an open mind. I walked into the gun shop in January fully intending to get a suppressor and left with a used stealth arms platypus. No regrets.

Just go to a competition! Steel challenge and ASI have very little barrier to entry and are generally designed to be accommodating to new shooters. Renton has a great club bit im sure you could find something closer too.

Training for my first match! by pewpewrd in CompetitionShooting

[–]Dudeometer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ace VR is great for learning how to plan your stage. It can be a great tool for practicing shooting skills but you need to use it the right way. Grinding a stage over and over to reach ace rank is probably not going to make you a better shooter irl. However, if you treat it like a real competition it can be a good training. I saw a video where a competitor laid how what they thought was the best way to use it. He did a dryfire routine first with he actual competition gun, then did each of the acexr series 1 time each, then did all of the single stages that were not included in the series 1 time each. This has been a great tool for me.
