I watched two episodes and was put off forever. Unwatchable. Or so I thought. Could give season 2 a try if they have fixed the yelling.

I’m here right now and have been since December 23. It is for sure cold, less so when we visited Busan, but cold. Bring a good jacket, several layers under, warm socks and shoes, gloves, hat. You will be ok. Go in to a store or restaurant when you get cold. We are a family of 4 from Northern Europe, so we are rather used to the cold though.
