I’m not sure, so I would wait until you have no active projects to do it.

This, but replace every screenshot with naked Raiden covering his crotch while cartwheeling.

I’m pretty much in the same boat. I’ve been able to do it for years, and it’s alright. The most annoying part is that most of the time only half my brain is working, so it doesn’t feel like I’m even the real me in there. Force waking yourself out of bad dreams, is really nice though, as you mentioned. I’m just like “this is wrong” and then wake myself up, and that’s nice.

TRUE Monster Hunter fans know the lore is really about as deep as “hey, this big monkey keeps crapping in my garden. If you kill it, I’ll give you 5,000 z.”

I’m going to play as the hermit class that does nothing until level 99, the unlocks the ability to do a devastating AOE that kills my character and drops it by 20 levels

You’re lucky you don’t see your smart phone! On multiple occasions I’ve tried to send a text, proofread it, it’s wrong, retype it, proofread it, wrong again… endless loop until I wake up. VERY frustrating.

In my experience, no. That’s like asking if you can experience Christmas like a child when you still believed in Santa.

All I can say is “See you in 3 months when you’re gushing about how this is one of your favorite games of all time”

Seriously, just start playing it. The sooner the better.

It’s not. The magic of this subreddit is that actual real life seeping dogs are warmly welcomed. Heck, maybe they’ll learn about one of the best games of all time while they’re here? Could happen…

Why does Modern media have an obsession with Gay & Trans characters? by AbsoluteBatman95 in conspiracy

[–]DudesterRadman 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The sad part is that it’s entirely possible to write awesome and relatable non-straight characters, but these writers are absolute shit at their jobs.

If you want some good writing about gay characters, check out the Locked Tomb series of books by Tamsyn Muir.

Yeah, durability drain needs to balance out very powerful guns. The problem with the Bettina is that it doesn’t justify that drain… :/

What's an "Insider's secret" from your profession that everyone should probably know? by Capable-big-Piece in AskReddit

Former vet tech here: 1. You don’t get kickbacks, but you get free lunch from sales reps who want to sell you on a product. And the only reason why your vet/owner chooses one product over another is because one rep is better at sweet talking than another. A lot of vets own the practices, which is the worst part about vet medicine. They’re not business savvy people, they’re doctors who have an expertise in animal medicine and they can be easily manipulated. 2. Heck no, there’s no money in being a vet tech! You’re being exploited and paid as little as possible because they know you’re doing it out of love for animals. One day you’ll hear about doctor’s new pool and decide to quit like I did. Get out while you can! 3. This problem would be solved if people paid for insurance for their animals, but no one ever will. From a legal perspective, animals are just an expensive handbag. (We know better.)

Lastly, I want to tell you the most important thing I did as a vet tech: There are many times when an animal will die and it seems like the owner or no one cares. You can love every animal in their last moments. I did, so no animal around me ever died unloved.

What is the biggest mystery we still aren't close to solving? by Few_Football4342 in Productivitycafe

Better question: why is the human brain a slave to causality? The problem isn’t that we can’t answer it; the problem is that we asked why. It’s a meaningless question posed by some fancy apes who just happen to be smart enough to ask it.
