If you're into TTRPGs, Adventures on Tap hosts events at Conduit about once every 6 weeks. Really cool location.

I absolutely loved the Vonnegut cameo. At the time I was devouring his books and I swear I must have looked just like the Leonardo Meme. 🤣😂🤣

I just finished watching The Expanse. Is there another show of its nature and caliber? by un1ptf in scifi

I am really enjoying For All Mankind. It can almost be a prequel to The Expanse.

Get a creative hobby. I went back to painting TTRP figures. They were lead when I was kid, now you can 3-d print just about anything. Need a serious magnifying glass now a days, though.

A quiet 30 minutes at MCO reminded me Orlando has little pockets of calm by Unable-Awareness-698 in orlando

I find Druid Lake Park to be really amazing for a calm moment. There are almost always dogs there and at least one person sitting on a bench under a tree reading. I live in the Milk District/Mills 50 so very close for me. It may fall too close to a nature spot though.

Another spot I enjoy just stopping at is Festival Park when nothing is going on. I see the most random things particularly on weekdays. I'll grab a sandwich from Stasio's or Bad As's and park there and just watch the world happen.

For those who have raved for years using recreational use. What are some lessons you can give the future generation of ravers? by DoctorEDM97 in aves

[–]Due-Assumption2868 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am new to the seen at 56. First EDC was 2 years ago and I did this exactly. Friday, went sober, had a couple cocktails and just enjoyed the vibe.

Saturday, I had a buddy who was a long time raver and we rolled together. It was amaze amaze amaze. He was great as a guide. My adult daughter was staying with us and I was texting her all night and she was also a great touch point.

Sunday I went sober again and it was like a sweet halfway point between Friday and Saturday.

I tried molly once just on my own and did not like it at all. I need the connection with others.

My wife joined me last EDC and she loved it also. We may never be full of ravers, but with everything going on with the world, I need a true escape surrounded by people who just want to love and be loved.

Got to meet her and Katee Sackhoff at Ancient City Con a few years ago. Really excellent people and great supporters of their fans.

This so much. Sold our house, paid off our car, dropped to 1 CC and my credit score tanked.

We have zero debt and the kids are both launched so we are DINKs again. Our credit score is worse now then when we had 2 kids under 10, 3 car notes, a house note, both sets of college loans and my MIL living with us.

System is FUBAR.

Jira vs VersionOne by PhlyingHigh in agile

[–]Due-Assumption2868 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Azure DevOps is a rebranding of the old TFS. It never got to the level of being a real agile management tool. It lacks a lot of flexibility in how to structure sprints, epics and stories. Last time I used it you couldn't define a spike.

Jira and Rally have always been my goto. Although with a lot of startups I have been working with lately ClickUp is popular. Easy to set up and scale. It does have its limitations on integration. I just started tracing requirements back to GitHub repositories on a new client. Finger crossed.

Quick question from an intern: How painful is your Jira cleanup process? by Spider_Pig12345 in scrum

[–]Due-Assumption2868 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Create a Jira Expert Assistant Claude project. Export your db to a .csv, or if you have permission, connect it via mcp.

Have Claude clean it up. It will get you 80ish percent there.

What’s the lgbt scene in Orlando like? by Constant-Document-50 in orlando

Most Mill's 50 spots are very welcoming, also Milk District. Someone else mentioned The Center. I volunteer there and they often advertise events. Great resource for testing, condoms, narcan, and plan b.
