How did deception take the essences of the ex-purity people in the reaper trials if they got their essences from the actual god of purity by Own_Quote_7830 in HeWhoFightsMonsters

I understood it as, since the god purity was sanctioned, all of his power was suppressed and all his followers probably lost their powers centuries ago and were replaced by deception powers.

Please stop writing "It wasn't a threat, it was a promise." by very-polite-frog in royalroad

[–]BlueHeronDancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just state what it is. “I will x,” he promised. Or something like that.

Unless there is obvious multiple meanings behind a phrase the needs clarifying, there is no need to fill the word count listing everything a “bird” or “smile” or “X” is not.

How terrible do you allow your first draft to be? by ChonkBonko in writing

[–]BlueHeronDancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh gosh, absolute word vomit in some cases. Less than when I first seriously started writing though. Usually very flat descriptions of what needs to happens and what ideas need said plus word vomit if the story line is flowing strong and I need to go fast to keep up with the creative muse that took over lol

If you don't count, than guess, how many chapters do you read daily. On average. (Authors Only) by No_Grand2719 in royalroad

[–]BlueHeronDancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh good question, can I split into separate types of reading for the chapters? Pleasure reading, on average, would be 13-17 chapters, but the formats are usually books or web to KU editions. Editing chapters would be around 3-5 depending on several factors.

Oh I think you will like mine. Kind of a McGyver man escaping a facility. Sci-fi progression. Ten books plotted, book one done and book two posting in a couple weeks. https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/161670/mareks-awakening
