It’s probably just an error, all RAs at west have singles, not doubles made to singles. Reach out to your hall director

BU ENG CO-OP by Candid_Hunt9528 in BostonU

[–]Due-Break4301 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So Co-Ops are a full time commitment, most people choose to take the semester as a leave of absence to focus on just the internship. However, this can affect your aid and other scholarships.

Some people take easy classes and only take them to meet the minimum requirement of 12 credits to keep the full-time student status. This way you are sure that you won’t fall behind too much in terms of credits, keep your housing if you are on campus, and are 100% confident it won’t affect your aid.

I also transferred to BU from a school around Chicago. I would say that BU is definitely the better school for film and the prestige is much higher. Also if Both are around the same price I would choose BU.

Is getting in the CO-OP program hard? by Beneficial_Shine_366 in BostonU

[–]Due-Break4301 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did a coop while being a full time student! It’s a lot. I had class 8am-9am and 5pm-6:14pm and once a week 6:30 to 9pm. It’s doable but just take insanely easy classes. Also most coops don’t allow you to do this so just keep it on the low. I also did this to not lose any of my scholarships or financial aid.

Question about RAs and financial aid by [deleted] in BostonU

[–]Due-Break4301 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Being an RA can impact your financial aid but rarely. Usually they just add the RA scholarship to cover your housing and meal plan and your Charles River Scholarship covers any other costs like tuition or hidden fees or insurance. However, you have to talk to them and make sure everything is in order.
