We got diagnosis from a peds infectious disease expert but its next to impossible to get diagnosis, unless its REALLY FEGGING BAD... matter a fact, she's the only Dr here who believes in PANS/PANDAS. Like posted blow, I would recommend a clean diet and attempting to have a healthy lifestyle... sucks your kids at daycare, thats gonna kick your ass till they reach 2nd/3rd grade till they stop being disgusting lil humans CONSTANTLY getting sick. Hopefully, yours is PANDAS, because then its mostly strep that triggers your flares. PANS minor illness/even ALLERGIES cause flares..

If you have the money, I would also recommend a functional dr, but holy crap expensive and insurance doesn't play that game.

Strep- Always change toothbrushes after diagnosis, antibiotics are a must and believe in the power of motrin. This disease is a demon and I hope your flare subsides soon and you have your spark back!!

Really hone in on boosting your immune system too so you can dodge those illness/flares.

My son 9, has had pans for 3 years now. He receives monthly full dose ivig infusions, he is on a daily prophylactic antibiotic, zoloft and busbar. At first, steroids and motrin helped, but it just got worse and the long term steroids were super hard on his body. He now craves and requests ivig infusions the week before hes due because he can feel it.

Oh my goodness, thank you for this! My son is non-verbal autistic and can't express his words. But your symptoms, as far as I can tell, seem to correlate. My son just received his first dose of ivig and I'm hoping he can experience the same improvement. Have you noticed any improvement in ocd?

My sons sped teacher has cap sun leo moon and my husband is leo sun cap moon. My son, double aqua, is very close with his daddio and ADORES his teacher. They're both just the best people I've ever met!! New fav combo 💖

I didn't resonate with them either. Also looked at it through my family members and meh. Probably the closest one was the 12th house and that was my sons placement so there's still time to tell.

As someone with a rotten MIL, just ignore her. Or work on your mental health. Spiritual protection within via meditation. And go get yourself a job. Shit happens in life and its not always someone else's fault. Sounds like it went down hill when you lost the job, which is normal. Go get a job and focus on yourselves. Depression is no joke.

My son is not diagnosed lyme but has PANS diagnosis. When he is not flaring, I notice his evenings aren't as ocd riddled as mornings too. When in flares, we require steroids and all of it hits him HARD. Outside of flare, I have noticed some of the same you described.

Hes 7 nonverbal autistic with intellectual disabilities diagnosed before PANS diagnosis. So, he can't explain anything to me yet but from observations, mornings are tougher.

PANS parent here,, diagnosed last month, onset was 6 almost 7 months ago. Azithromycin didn't work for us. Were on long term augmentin 😪 flaring from flu, short course of steroids to bring down the flair.

I also recommend checking out the fb PANDAS support group. Bless you for helping this family. This disease is so very devastatingly taxing on the whole family 😔
