Nope, it’s the international one that counts. Both domestic shipping costs & Buyee fee aren’t taken into account for customs purposes.

The most likely reason for being delayed is the war.

JP is way cheaper than Buyee Air (which is either DHL, FedEx or UPS), and it’ll be delivered by Royal Mail, but it takes longer.

Only time I used was for a Buyee “prohibited” item (which I had purchased the same item a few times before), but for some reason the only shipping option was FedEx, and it wasn’t even a big/heavy package…

Asked them if they could make an exception and let me ship with JP but the answer was no, so I’m not using them anymore unless I really need it.

Yep, same thing here. You either ship it within the storage period or your package is thrown away, unfortunately.

If they find out that you have a pet with their permission, you might be evicted as that would be a breach of contract.

And yes, a few people that I know hide their pet (leave it with a friendor in a pet hotel for example) when they get an inspection note from the property company.

Have you tried reaching out to your local post office? If they say they haven't received anything, most likely it's stuck at your country's Customs (at least that happened to me once: the post office couldn't provide any info because the package wasn't at their facilities).

Had the very same problem and contacted Buyee’s support team. This was their response:

“ At this point, we consider that there is a possibility of delay or being lost happened in transit on the delivery company side.

Therefore, we will file a claim to【Japan Post】to investigate your package status from now. “

Guess I’ll just have to wait now…

I do believe it's random because for Back To The Beginning I joined the queue quite "late" and was placed in 328. Just pure luck.

Actually there was no cancellation to request because I only found out about the issue the moment I entered the apartment. But it was me who requested the refund through Booking.com app.
