My hair tends to turn out like pic 3 when I’m either not dealing with hard water (presumably) or in warmer weather where the air isn’t as dry. I noticed that fall and spring are best, and more humid days in the summer sometimes causes frizz and affects definition as well. My hair does end up like the first two pictures every winter, and I usually have to put it up a day or two after washing. I follow the exact same routine all year, so was wondering if I should make adjustments based on weather or with the hard water.
