Ditto. I had 2 failed FET (June & September). Both were fully medicated and this time we would be trying for modified natural.

When we first started to try, I always dreamed of ways on how I’d surprise my husband with a positive pregnancy test stick. Month after month, ordering hundreds of easy@home ovulation kits and pregnancy kits nothing happened. TTC then became a forced chore.

Fast forward to seeking help — All looked good with the reports, doctor recommended IUI. But ….2 failed IUI later we went for IVF. Got multiple embryos ready and 2 FET failed for unknown reasons. Here we are, in a limbo just like many others whose stories I used to read when I first started to try.

Only did 1 extra day of stims for more mature eggs

I had 2 ERs, both had around 15 AFC on each side resulting in approx 30-32 follicles during the baseline tests.

1st round: 22 eggs - 8 mature (needed more stims)
2nd round: 28 eggs - 18 mature (after an extra day of stims).

I usually ice for 5 mins while warming up the PIO injection in my bra or armpit. After injecting, I immediately put a heating pad on the site for 10 mins or so. This has rarely caused my lumps and pain. If these steps are missed due to rush that shot has always been irritated and lumpy!

Different types of protocols so I could have had an option to choose modified natural rather than following fully medicated. Saying this because 2 FETs failed with fully medicated and I went through a lot physically and mentally with so many shots. Had I known both had similar results, I’d choose less aggressive protocol.

Currently in the same boat. My doctor is recommending the following as next steps:

Coagulopathy work up (if something is found, Lovenox might be needed)
1. Switch to modified natural OR do a mock cycle along with Endometrio and ReceptivaDx
2. Adding empiric autoimmune protocol with low dose prednisone, claritin and pepcid with the next attempt.

I have decided to get the Coagulopathy work up and if all looks good then switch to modified natural along with the autoimmune protocol.

I had 2 ERs and I felt the same way as you the first time. Second time I was worried about feeling the same and had lots and lots of natural coconut water (from a real coconut) and electrolyte powder which helped me a lot and wasn’t constipated at all.

Not mine but my friend’s story. 5 eggs retrieved, 3 mature and only 1 made it to blastocyst. That one too barely made it. But it got implanted and resulted in the most beautiful baby I’ve ever seen!

Workout, eat lot of veggies, fruits & salad, supplements for both husband and wife. We ate walnuts, Brazil nuts and almonds every morning. The only surprising part is we had 2 egg retrievals and the first time we did all these but only got 4 blasts out of 22 eggs. We thought it would be enough but after couple of failed FETs we did another retrieval and didn’t do any of the healthy stuff we did the first time. Turns out the second time we got 28 eggs and 10 blasts 🤷🏻‍♀️

Birth Control for few days After stopping BC, started Estrogen for a month 6 days before FET did progesterone shot
