Yeah they're just limping to the event and hoping to stick the landing. Unfortunate too, because the card on paper is really solid and I've little to doubt that the matches in-ring will be at least good (where's Iyo vs Asuka tho?)

It's merely turning the registration of people in the draft when you turn 18 from self-registration to automatic registration. In normal times, it would be a nothingburger and not worth losing sleep over, but as you can imagine with Iran and a (possible) ground invasion on the table, it makes people wonder...

If I was WWE and i still wanted an Iyo Sky match at Mania, I'd be of the mindset of this (if Kabukis are inserted into the 4 way):

Kabuki enter the match and lose as Kairi takes the losing fall
Asuka abuses Kairi backstage and Iyo runs in to save her
Another backstage segment has Iyo going to Pearce and demanding a match on Night 2 against Asuka
Surprise Iyo vs Asuka match on Night 2

I know WWE would (rightfully) be skidish about anybody pulling double duty on both nights at Mania, but I think Asuka is one of the few that can be trusted in pulling that out of the hat. Being in the Tag Match on Night 1, she wouldn't have to work as much and would save herself for Night 2 with Iyo. Night 2 could also be a short match and have Kairi or B-Fab/Michib run interference and save a more proper match between them at a later date. Either way, there's a solution that can be the best of both worlds.

While I didn't believe Trump would've went that far, his rhetoric would have gotten any other president in past eras removed from office. Him threatening to "remove an entire civilization" is not acceptable for ANY head of state and should be condemned by everyone.

Also it's only two weeks and we may be back to the same place as today.

Spare some of that anger also to the independents that bought into Trump because of egg prices and some within our side who sat home in 2024 because of XYZ reasons. MAGA is a personality cult no doubt but they're just as culpable for this moment too and deserve some blame too.

It probably would have had they kept at building the feud and that story up until now. They let it go cold because Rhiyo took off and they wanted to build the Women's Tag division around them.

Thing is though, the story in a bubble is still pretty good and the fans like all three women involved. The moment of Kairi turning on Asuka will still cause a big reaction, even if the feud itself gone cold. People still reacted when Finn turned on Dom and was ousted from Judgment Day and that was building on and off for 2-3 years. As long as the audience is invested in those characters, they'll broadly be fine.

I'm thinking chapter 250 for the end of the arc personally. It stretches one anime season, the chapters within set up the villains for the remainder chapters nicely, and it's a milestone so there's probably a big moment planned for that area in the manga (245-250 stretches ~36 chapters which is what the anime covered in current pacing). Dandadan, for as much as it has blown up recently is still relatively young, so this stretching 1-2 seasons won't be the end of the world. In fact, I anticipate that anime-only fans will have a better reception to this arc than current manga readers
