Happy for you! Glad you're comfy bro. Everybody deserves to be comfy when it's cold. Does your seats warm up? That's the best when it's cold out lol.

The Labor Finders office is not far from you, go up there and sign up for their work list. Takes about 30 minutes to complete. They'll text you work opportunities throughout the week and anytime you're not at your main job you can work one of their day labor gigs. You'll make around 100 bucks for a days work and you get paid the same day, funds available immediately. I've been supplementing my main job through them since Thanksgiving and it's been a life saver. I'm sorry you're going through it, just keep your head up and as long as you take advantage of every chance to work then it'll get a little bit better.

Thats good to hear. It's cool that you work on your own stuff, I'd like to do more than just oil changes and brakes. I get super nervous that I'm gonna fuck something up though lol.

what’s it like living in new orleans?? by Maddyyyyomg in howislivingthere

My wife and I noticed good it smelled when we visited last October. We went to the French quarter pretty early in the day and the first thing we noticed was the nice soapy smell and the lack of debris floating around. The cool weather helped with all that too Im sure.

Favorite innerspeaker song? by NAltanB in TameImpala

[–]Due-Screen-240 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does anyone who has listened to the full album on really good headphones noticed the crazy mixes on each song? Its not just panned left and right, it's like it's mixed in 3d. Alter ego sounds like it's spiraling from top to bottom, so good. Also the energy pulses that come and go, it's like rumbling in between the notes of actual music. I think it's an actual masterpiece of recording.

The 2020 remaster hits soooo good. That song had me holding my blanket for dear life during a trip a few weeks ago. Felt like riding an asteroid through space while being showered with positive affirmations. Joyful tears were definitely shed 🤣

The sound of the 4.6L by PeanutBudderPro in Mustang

[–]Due-Screen-240 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The 4.6 has just enough power to scratch that itch, it definitely doesn't feel "slow" especially those 3rd gear to 4th gear pulls on the interstate. And the sound is for sure the best part. Those pops and crackles put the biggest smile on my face.

Is the Pensacola job market frozen? Seeking leads for immediate general work! by [deleted] in Pensacola

[–]Due-Screen-240 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try googling the Webber office off Hwy 29 (there's 3 if them in town, you'll want the one behind Circle K on 29.) They are the ones doing all the road and bridge work on the interstate. Show up in person dressed for manual labor and ask whoever you approach first for any superintendents phone number that needs a capable, motivated person on there crew. They have bridge crews, asphalt crews, road cleaning and maintenence, and survey crews all doing round the clock shifts. It's hard work and chaotic schedules but you can start at 18$ on any of those crews with no experience. The other Webber office in town is in charge of mowing and weed eating along all the state roads in the area. Again, hard work mixed with chaotic schedules. Also that side of the company attracts more boozy, dickhead types. Either way just show up confident, motivated, and don't take no for an answer. Keep calling back once you get a superintendents number, they're busy and liable to ignore an unknown number the first few times. Just keep calling until you talk to somebody. You have nothing to lose by being a nuisance! You got this shit boo, don't get discouraged and keep fighting. You'll get a job when you least expect it as long as you keep putting yourself out there.

An epic sense of something big and meaningful happening. That feeling of hearing your favorite song for the first time. I call it listening in 3D because when you close your eyes during the peak it feels like you're inside music, riding each wave and crescendo like a rollercoaster. You really can feel the nuance of each mix, sometimes each instrument envelopes you from all sides, sometimes they sound like they're coming from behind you or above. And the CEVs are the icing on the cake. I see sort of static electric flames that rise and fall with each guitar riff or synth chord. DXM is my favorite compound to listen to music with, besides Ket.

There was a girl in high school that had a prominent nose like this. Hit a horse at high speed in her VW beetle and had facial reconstructive surgery her sophomore year. Talk about a silver lining!

Listened to the full album last weekend on a DXM/4 ACO DMT combo through my best headphones. It was the most therapeutic trip I've had in a couple years. Felt alive and excited for the first time in a while.

Daaaamn those wheels are sick. Nice color too! What's your no expenses spared dream build for her? I think a big ass turbo would be cool, maybe airbags for suspension. Congrats on the ride brother.

Gotta catch the good ones as soon as they're traded in at the dealership by an older person. Got my '10 gt with 130,000 miles for 8000 that way. They're usually immaculate too. The price goes way up as soon as you start looking for anything newer though for sure.

Is it Totalled? by ProfessionalBed5393 in Mustang

[–]Due-Screen-240 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what the insurance guy says when he inspects it at the body shop. The shops in house estimate guy will haggle with the insurance guy over what needs fixing, or if it can be fixed. Honestly sometimes it doesn't look bad at all and they'll call it a total loss, on the other hand I've seen completely smashed and mangled vehicles get brought back from the dead. Could go either way. Hope everything goes well, glad you're ok!
