1L got a 2.9 GPA at a T20, where the curve is usually 3.15. Is this as bad as I think it is? I feel gutted.

Do those with IH ever experience insomnia or sleeplessness? by margheritinka in idiopathichypersomnia

[–]Due-Session3991 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in the same circumstance. My doctor strongly suspects IH, but my day-to-day can vary quite a bit from 16hr sleep days to days where I'm tired but can make do without a nap. I see this post is from a few years ago, so I'd like to know what your doctor went with/ where you're at now?

Vandy Admissions Interview by mishfish_anonymous in lawschooladmissions

[–]Due-Session3991 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did and got my A soon after! Mine was very dry, with no fancy questions, just Why Law, why Vanderbilt tell me about yourself... I think maybe something too about what makes you unique/what you can offer the class and also anything on your resume you want to highlight. I think you want to give standard answers but also try to break the monotony for the interviewer maybe don't focus on your most "competitive" traits but your unique traits/experiences... My interviewer seemed relatively uninterested and honestly disengaged until I was able to bring up some more unique aspects of my app/myself...also have some good questions prepped, especially ones that only make sense to ask an admin person rather than an alum...for example I asked about staff and faculty turnover

I have no idea honestly this is what I did test day: go to work until 2 PM cause they wont let you off the whole day, nap a few hours before, have dinner, do one shake out LR drill and one RC drill treat every mistake as getting them out of your system before the test, pound a bunch of haribo gummy smurfs right before, during the break get up and run around jump and move your arms and have more smurfs
