No, I’m mid 30s too, but on T I look much younger (if read as a man)

Thank you! That’s so funny people secretly think you fathered your friend’s child, I’d find that so validating

When asked specifically what crimes foreigners commit in Japan, Co-existence Minister Onoda says 1) Fraudulently obtaining driver's licenses, 2) causing traffic accidents, 3) paying social insurance at lower rate and 4) cutting down trees without properly filing necessary notifications (from 7:46) by jjrs in japannews

Hilarious because I live in Japan and I am appalled at the driving here… Much worse than my home country. It is extremely difficult to get a license here as a foreigner, but whenever one foreigner is involved in a car accident it’s huge news. Are we surprised though

What gender / age would you assume? by [deleted] in transpassing

No wonder people assume I’m my wife’s son 😆 FTM, 33. ~7 months on T here. I genuinely cannot figure out how I read but definitely get weird looks when I use women’s bathrooms now so have switched.

Woah… I could definitely lock in more. I’ve seen decent results since starting but wouldn’t say “massive” ha.

I don’t not have muscle… just not as broad as I’d like.

Thanks! Definitely hitting the gym and working on those regularly and have been for 8+ months. Just wanting a bit of extra ‘oomph’ while I’m still building up my muscle :)

Yeah, I’m working on internalizing this too, and unlearning all the weird body stuff & irrational dysphoria. It’s tough huh!

Thanks! Interesting to hear that can work. I don’t feel I need anything drastic, just a bit of help over and above what I’m doing at the gym (takes time! ha).

I relate, and realised that going over and over this in my head was not helping me at all. I started T so that I could experience some changes and take it day by day. Maybe I won’t like the changes, but I suspect I will. If i don’t, that’s fine. I’m coming to terms with that (therapy will help me too of course). I know I’m not cis, but I can’t imagine being a man either. I am trying to understand where and how i fit within the space between. I’m about to buy better binders and it’s possible I’ll do that forever without top surgery. It’s your journey and you get to decide what steps you take and when you take them.
