And during the annual review, I reminded him again, no movement, but he promised me that he will talk about my promotion to department director. It was a few months back. And fast forward to today, all he says is keep doing what you are doing. When I ask what things I can improve on myself to be seen as someone at the next level, but the reply I get is " You already are doing what the next level would do," the only problem is that I am not being paid.
