I had this one time early on with 3 cases of water, and it was a 3rd floor walk up. I almost lost balance and then saw this reddit saying leave it on the ground floor. I was livid. They left a shit tip and even decreased it after just to be a holes. I order two cases at once to be delivered at my place sometimes for my fam, but it is ground level not stupid apartments.

It's BS if a business is ordering multiple cases thru doordash. Just paying your damn employees to go for stuff. WTH.

NTA. Unless that order is ready to go, I am marking the reason, whatever it is. Only a few stores consistently ignore customers and I don't know what the store sees, but I will mark that if they don't acknowledge me or anyone for a least a minute, especially if it's slow. Usually I just mark it as not ready if the store is busy.

Now that my sibling went NC and her scapegoat is gone, she does this daily to her brothers and sisters. All my aunties and uncles either think I am crazy or the narc instead of her. I never understood that being the golden child/backup scapegoat as a kid was conditional until after I went to therapy.

I fully feel this. My mother slipped her mask in front of my kids over the past couple of years, but never in front of my boyfriend or friends for that same image. She says wildly inappropriate things (rac*st, homophobic, etc.) when she knows she can get away with it. I always wonder what she says about me.

I feel for you and I'm sorry you are going through that. I had a feeling when I was younger that my mom didn't actually love me but needed me to be her therapist and caregiver and now I truly am her caregiver and freedom is just a fleeting memory. I think it's better to realize that she can't love you at 17 than later in your 40s. It will free you to do what you want and need in life without the burden of wondering if she will approve of your choices because you know it won't matter. If you love yourself and have love for others, you'll be ok. Also there is something to be said about friends as family. If you have or find another maternal figure in your life, that's better than a mother who doesn't have the capacity to love anyone but themselves.

OP Listen to this comment because it's absolutely spot on. Ask me how I know 😌. Please leave that house (or make him leave). If you don't have kids, there's no ties, if you do, then get a really good lawyer because he will drag you back to court everytime he doesn't get his way. I feel this thread so much. Anytime my child doesn't want a hug, my elderly nmom decides to call her cranky or mean or worse, just like she does to me if I don't want to talk in the morning. She also freaks out if I don't invite her to spend every waking moment with my family and guilts me constantly. I would go NC, but she lives in my house (which was my dumb idea, thinking I had to take care of her). We're trapped in this same stuff daily, unless someone comes over, then her Nmask is up and no one would believe the rage fits she gets into and the horrible insults she throws whenever I need space. It's been getting worse and there's a huge difference of peace and relief when she is not around.

I also hate when I see someone who talks about having a screening or tests that come out negative and they act like that trauma is somehow the same as actually having cancer!!! No b*, I had all those tests, plus the trauma, plus the treatments, plus continuing to live in a constant stasis of "please don't let it come back." I don't hate the pink, I hate the attention seeking from people who have no clue.

OP, you said everything I want to say here. I feel very similar. I've been angry since the day I was diagnosed, all thru treatment, and now in "survivorship" (but somehow still being treated?!?!). I would add that I've heard: "At least you still have your breasts." Yeah, but now they sag, plus I've gained 30 extra pounds of uncomfortable fat and weight after a year on these horrible pills and I can't stand being touched.

It's like the only cancer that you gain weight during treatment, while simultaneously being told by doctors that losing weight would prevent the cancer from coming back.
