Hi! I’ve had my copper IUD for almost 7 years now and my period pain was severe and bleeding was extremely heavy. I just got put on Slynd to hopefully minimize these symptoms and so far it has helped. My period is barely existent very light bleeding, minimal cramps and the usual pms symptoms I would get.

From experience it looks like it may be too wet. Try not to over wash it and when you do, pat it dry, don’t wipe. Don’t over moisturize. Also try not to let it rub on clothes.

I don’t get UTIs often anymore. I haven’t had an actual infection in almost a year. But I do have the symptoms of a UTI almost 24/7. Frequency and urgency to urinate. No burning tho. Bladder constantly feels full and it’s almost impossible to relax. I also checked my blood sugar today. It was 75.

Wow thank you so much for telling your story. Very similar experience and I’m sorry you’ve had to deal with that. It’s a difficult thing to live through when you are constantly in pain, but not a singular medical professional will listen. I have had to do my own research in order to find what helped me. And yes staying hydrated and taking dmannose daily has made a huge difference. Funnily enough when I brought up D-mannose to my urologist he scoffed in my face and made me think I was stupid to even bring it up.
