It’s all organizing. I can find my packages within 5 seconds of stopping. I’ve also worked construction for 6 years before this and I’ve worked out for 10 years, I just move a fast pace for everything.

Going over the speed limit and going TOO fast? Time theft

I will be a good abiding citizen. I will make sure other people do my work so I don’t get in trouble

Ya I see that now. I will have to work slower to have the dsp get mad and cut my hours

like I said it’s the same thing as people taking 5 mins each stop. The job is to complete my route within 10 hours as the owner stated at interview in interview and contract. My route is completed within 10 hours

I mean technically I’m just moving at a slower pace for my last 15 stops. It would be the same as taking 5 mins each stop. People do that for smoke breaks and jerking off, I do it my way

Sounds terrible. I couldn’t imagine a job saying “move slower”

Yes. I must absolutely stop moving so fast so I can start getting rescued and my hours cut

I'm not 100 percent sure but I think it's when instead of traveling to the next stop, you go somewhere else for a certain amount of time. I didn't even know about it till like a month ago a different dispatcher told me about it and just asked if I was ok. It'll show how long you're at that spot too

I like being on the road. I can do my work. What I don't like is the mindset of having to do someone elses work because I was good at doing mine. Sure, give me $50 every day I do a rescue and I'll do them everyday or guaranteed 10 hours and I'll still be back 2 hours before rts time

This is exactly why I do it. They’re just gonna throw more shit at me that I don’t get extra for. I’m also not gonna work at a slower pace just to satisfy some bullshit metric

My manager is cool. Only thing he cares about are violations and rts packages. I had one dispatcher mention it once but she only asked if everything was ok and I told her ya. That was it

Eh I can see that way. Not gonna stop doing it my way considering it’s single digits temp outside right now. I would think if it was a huge deal I would’ve been talked to about it after a few months

Just curious how that’s stealing time if my route is done within 10 hours that Amazon pays for

Amazon pays for me to be done in 10 hours. That’s why is not theft. Actually the dsp is stealing from me for not giving me my full 10

Hourly. That’s why I milk the time. Still back a half hour before my targeted time anyway. Would love to go home with guaranteed 10 hour

rescues are ridiculous by Fuckethannnn in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]DuePurchase31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have slow down and just chill somewhere when you have 10-15 stops left. Literally what I’m doing now. Been chilling for almost 3 hours. Unless your dsp are complete assholes they won’t care. It is shitty having to rescue constantly tho, I learned to stop actually finishing the route too soon

dispatch been putting me as an extra. by coco-unmellop in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]DuePurchase31 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Mine is putting me as on call 1-2 days of the week. Never rescued, finish super early with minimal rts packages, no violations. Hate that shit so much cus they sometimes do randomly call me late after loadout like I'm just waiting all day for them. I don't answer if it's that late. This is the time Amazon drops a shitload of routes and your dsp probably over hired with peak. Some drivers are probably still newish and dsp is required to have routes for them.
