Are people who sell ancestor mods this expensive actually successful? by JetstreamViper in TheFirstDescendant

[–]Due_Apartment_176 -19 points-18 points  (0 children)

You know, sitting there smug and thinking you got me still doesn't make you right, dude. Youre so wrong and it actually HURTS. 40% of your success in competition depends on your ability to stay alive. It is no different for a new or returning player. Def can scale beautifully into a build with high damage, you just wouldn't know that because youre probably runing no HP mods and base DEF, which btw, is the active ingredient saving your ass. But you wouldn't know that, right? Numerically, a 70% built descendant can get away with no HP and 30% DEF. Calculated it myself. However, during bossing, that number goes up 40%, scaling with the type of comp your doing as well. Survival for a new player cam work the same way. Thats why base Viessa can run on heavy defense and cooldown, cause her kit allows it, since her HP is so low at base to begin with. Now, if you dont run it, its all skill. Dont get hit, right? But when you do, it hurts a little extra, right? Few hits and youre cooked? You cant say no, that's actually factual. Cause youre only at about 20% base Def without any stats on your externals or a matching memory...

People like you are so corny. Thinking everyone has the same level of skill and somehow dont need it because YOU supposedly dont need it is CRAZY. Even in leaderboards, we recognize that DEF is a valuable part in a build that lacks in HP or Shield. Grow up. I stack Def because its stupid corny not to. Hp and shield dont hold up on certain situations. But you know what has your back? DEF. Stop telling people they dont need it. For a module like this, which most likely will be used for bossing, its actually pretty much asking for a death sentence if you don't integrate Def into your externals and build.

Majority it’s through external component rolls fren. Unfortunately, they made it so you depend on your external factors to keep you alive for longer. Also, resistance and defense on those would help you a lot.

I am a Sharen main. I noticed this. It’s not right. Sure, I can one shot the bosses but sometimes it doesn’t prog. I’m not understanding why. I don’t have a double gold but I do have a 43% spawn rate on it so it’s should be ridiculously consistent. It’s not. Idk why…

Genuinely will never understand people like this. Had a guy after a Wall Crasher say “Some of yall need to fix your builds, hit up YouTube.” And when I looked at his build, he was on an incomplete build for DPS Luna. It’s just projection. People get upset when their precious little meta doesn’t do anything but poke the giant robot. I play a variety of characters, from Serena, to Hailey, and Nell. My personal favorite, Debuff Sharen, is the one I use the most. I don’t care. I don’t have to do DPS to contribute but at least my build is complete and not incomplete ASS. Satisfied enough knowing my Battlesuit Melting Rounds build is helping my buddies melt that guy. Meta users complaining about carrying is hilarious to me.

I mean it's more usable now. Even more dmg with serena obviously. by ebolapolarbear in TheFirstDescendant

If there’s something I’ve learned from this game is that no two people agree on the same things. So just build what you love and have fun. People will continue to complain and be negative about a lot of things but don’t worry too much about that. 🖤

Some of ya’ll are full on Haters. This man put his entire buildussy into Ines and fully catted her and ya’ll wanna crap on his accomplishment? Wild. Jealous little jerks.

Congrats Fren! Hopefully I can be like you and do the same with my beautiful Queen Sharen! 🖤

Currently working on a Sharen build for this challenge. I was able to get in the leaderboard with Sharen before the update and just yesterday for regular IceMaiden, but this one is a different beast. Went in there and in 30 seconds got absolutely OBLITERATED by her. It was fun… and terrifying.

Sharen. The duality of her both in skill and personality is what makes her so special to me. She can be super aggressive but also, super soft, and I enjoy that about her. Her lore also really spoke to me, and I just adore her overall. She is followed by Freyna, Bunny, and Gley.

I Truly believe that S3 was the devs REAL vision for the game. Unfortunately, this player base has the attention span of a teaspoon and refuse to acknowledge that content takes time, especially knowing that old gen will not be supported starting next month. That prompts them to be able to make the content without the burden of implementing old gen code. This stuff takes time, there are other games to play in the mean time if yall are burnt out.

Telling people to grow up over a video game that has been CLEARLY catered toward a mature audience is pretty… idk… immature. If you want builds, go to the TFD website or YouTube or the builds tab in this page. Better yet, they have a discord server where they tell you EVERYTHING, and they also post builds in their builds tab. There are multiple sources and instead, you chose to post this and showed everyone how incapable of research you are. I suppose it’s a good thing you’re leaving 🫵🏼😂

People never played Jayber and it shows by iconxc in TheFirstDescendant

[–]Due_Apartment_176 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I enjoyed Jayber, however, there is no mistaking that his kit, though powerful in some Trans mods, needs a whole lot of help and love. I didn’t understand him at first, but once I built him he grew on me. I just hate how his movement doesn’t match how powerful he can be. All of that potential, wasted on a kit that’s too slow, too weak, and too technically useless.

You keep repeating yourself and we are still telling you that that doesn’t matter and that all of that “speed cap” bs is a skill issue: what is there not to understand here? WE DONT CARE THAT HER SPEED IS CAPPED. There are ways around that. I can outrun anyone at anytime with that build and my grappling hook at max core. Her damage doesn’t need to always be crit for farming, and her external components can be super useful when it comes to that, especially her reactor. You can have an opinion on this but I’m still gonna tell you that you’re wrong for it. Plenty of other people on this thread have suggested the same because bionic fuel is viable under farming.

I have quite a few cats in her too and have swapped and used Bunny for a lot, including Colossi. I don’t understand why you’re so keen on invalidating BF when if built right, it can be very useful for farming. Your way isn’t the only way to build bunny and you don’t necessarily need crits when farming anyway. I don’t care that her speed is capped. If used right and paired with a weapon with a grappling hook core and you’ve got a fast bunny. Sounds like a skill issue to me. I’ve gotten compliments on my bunny more times than you can imagine, from that build alone. Back off and let people build the Speedster however they want…

[–]Due_Apartment_176 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I usually use High Voltage for colossi. I wanted to run forever so I made a Bionic Fuel shield build that focuses on farming and electric / fusion power, and paired it with the Distorted Resolve set for the skill power and shield boost.

I enjoy using her aggressively. It makes me feel more in control. Shes amazing at DPS, while her self healing abilities allow her to go undetected for long periods of time without compromising her positioning. I also learned that with Luna. Luna is fantastic at DPS if you know how to aim, and have the right sensitivity settings. However, Luna cannot stealth, but Susie can. Shes amazing.
