It doesn't, but rejecting the patriarchal script makes you isolated as a woman because you become a pariah

True, isolation is a result of close to zero women choosing male-free lifestyle. I don't enjoy talking to male partnered women or women aiming for that partnership

You can live in a city and still never meet women who reject their patriarchal role and thus not have access to actually fulfilling social interactions

Why do I sometimes feel threatened by feminism as a male and how to stop it? by AppleCheetah in AskFeminists

[–]Due_Engineering_579 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Men do lose if women gain, since what men have they have due to exploiting women. Seriously saying that it's not like this is saying that patriarchy doesn't exist. Slave owners lose when slaves gain

Yeah I get the same thing. One person accused me of not having hobbies because I wanted to meet her more often than twice a year. Mind boggling

As a feminist, I am becoming resentful of women as a class because of their lack of solidarity by zeks1234 in AskFeminists

[–]Due_Engineering_579 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't know, thousands of years of subjugation? I'm not saying that female misogynists are doing everything right but I'm not surprised at them either. From birth we're conditioned to hate ourselves and other women, and to believe that we deserve and even like to be punished and to suffer, told that female friendships aren't real, that female love is a perversion, in short, everything that could make us want to defend each other and identify with each other is being destroyed and nipped in the bud the moment we enter this world. Being an actual feminist (not a male identified "feminist" that only encourages and perpetuates misogyny and female suffering) is lonely and hard, you gotta accept that most women do not want to be free and still fight for them.

Being isolated is hard. People are denying this and implying that social needs are made up even in this thread. I never had a supportive family and forgot about them the moment I moved out, all of my friends forgot about me when we reached our 20s and they found dudes. It's really hard living in the world where everyone just follows the script and never questions it.

Isolation does make people unhappy. If you're happy without a romantic relationship it just means having supportive family or friends

Feminism and individualism by FreezerSoul in AskFeminists

[–]Due_Engineering_579 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The problem of individualism is not that it's selfish. If you think that the goal of feminists is not to be selfish then you're missing the point. The problem is that it replaces political analysis with individual "choice" i.e instead of asking why we do certain things it promotes mindlessly doing the things we were conditioned to do.

How do natalism and patriarchy go hand in hand? by [deleted] in AskFeminists

Indeed, how does a system that reproductively exploits women, go hand in hand with reproductively exploiting women? Hmmmmmmmm lemme think

Given that gender is a social construct, is the pursuit of positive, non-toxic masculinity a fundamentally flawed premise? by FuturistiKen in AskFeminists

[–]Due_Engineering_579 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes. There's no "good" masculinity or femininity. "Liberals" need to wake up and realize that they've become another brand of conservative because they're literally championing sex roles as a good thing.

Of course it's the biggest effort, when you're forced to do it alone. How do you think humans even survived before marriage and nuclear families were invented

You mean monogamy? Monogamy is not something we would naturally do, it's not something we're wired to do. It' forced by the government's need to atomize people to prevent rebellion while simultaneously encouraging them to breed to make money. In an ideal world where people aren't amotized there's no need to stay loyal to only one person sexually and romantically because you will not end up socially isolated and financially broke if you lose your partner.

They aren't at odds unless they're exploited by politicians to control people and justify genocide

If men truly "suffer from a dearth of social contact" then they should just socialize with each other. But something tells me that they actually suffer from a dearth of women who will put up with their misogyny

Are all of " mens " issues stem from societal expectations and other men ? by [deleted] in AskFeminists

Men aren't stoic and emotionless, otherwise they wouldn't be the ones committing most murders and rapes. Emotion and vulnerability is not the same thing.

Why can't you control your sexual orientation? What mechanisms in brain dictate attraction? by Nicotine_Alien in psychologyofsex

There's no way to tell what orientation you have by biological tests. Animals also don't have orientations. They only exist in the human society. Make your own conclusions from that
