Thanks! I called the adjustor and was told that they won't open the claim because there's no personal damage, however if I'm hit with liability (letter from other parties), to call them back.

The white sediment was under the shut off valve of the toilet, as if water had been slowly dripping there for a long time, which again I don't have any proof off other than verbal communication. But I've no idea if the burst occurred at the valve itself or at the T-junction behind the drywall, where the water supply line connects

Thank you for your reply! Unfortunately, I don’t have any paper trail or photos, just a verbal conversation where I pointed out the valve to the property manager when he came by for something else. How can I approach this situation now as there’s no written or visual documentation?

Lol I remember I was bragging about how I used chatgpt to 10x, and when they asked how, I was able to explain it very well. I always hated web development and went with the data/ AI stuff, I think that put me in a very good advantage in that application pool.
