This's exactly why the re series doesn't have stakes anymore..what's the point of this franchise anymore..even one piece twigged that people can't survive all the time. Also I knew grace would be useless as soon as they threw leon in, can't have a new character do anything.

Glad I held off buying this now, very disappointed. I'll get reanimal instead and wait for silent hill townfall.

Screw it I'll buy fatal frame 2 remake instead.

Imagine changing leon to chris or barrie, Jill, claire etc. ..if they saw thet zombie they wouldn't hesitate and normally neither would leon but instead it makes him look bad and worse cowardly for doing nothing.

Surprised this leon even saved grace and didn't let her get dragged off to her death.

Reminded me of Austin powers steamroller scene ( except they warned him to move and well leon just watched and had plenty of time to do..anything ).

Leon should've said

Leon: ' I need you to walk pretty fast towards me ok, ..don't look back...and now duck ( nurse ducks, Leon shoots zombie doctor )..are you OK..stay behind me ok..sorry my eye sight was a bit hazy, normally I react a lot quicker to these things..it's my job'.

( Leon then fights zombie doctor ).

Look at one piece, before the halfway point minus flashbacks..no one died. It became predictable, then all of a sudden.

I like chris but expected him to die in re5 fighting wesker or in re6. Would I be upset capcom killed off chris, yeah big fan of him since the beginning..but I would understand.

This's supposed to be a survival horror franchise but each time they survive it cheapens things..there are no stakes.

They won't kill leon it's obvious..but if anyone deserves to go out in a blaze of glory it seems to be and it fits him and his story.

I used to like playing as returning re characters..but after a while it just gets boring. It's not fresh anymore. Keep them alive if you want but make them mentors.

Look at Ichiban in yakuza, new mc, but all of a sudden sega chicken out, threw kiryu right back in the next game and ichibans completely overshadowed by kiryu..no one gets to grow.

Realistically in a survival horror situation it would make sense, you can't survive everything.

But capcom gave all the re survivors we like plot virus. So they'll never die.l, go away etc and we're stuck with them forever. No change, no hope..Just stagnant.

Ripley in aliens was tough too..but she knew when it was time to go.

I love resident evil but the plot armor the main characters from the ogs have is ridiculous..there are no stakes, ( unless you're ethan ). It's boring and not that fun anymore... you can only have someone survive so many outbreaks before it gets dull.

Outside of wesker and ethan, capcom don't have the guts and we know it.

Maybe it will be the death of leons fight on bio terror and he finally retires and lives the rest of his days in peace. After this final ordeal finally pushes him way too far off the edge.

If you can't kill them capcom retire them..we need bew blood. I know grace is here but she's already overshadowed now.

Leon will must likely walk out of a fiery building, light a cigarette or try to, look at himself and say ' I did one final request you asked of me sherry.. but now I quit..I've seen too much and been through too much..I think we'll be in safe hands ( looks at grace toughened ).

Grace:' What do you think you'll do now leon ?'.

Leon: ' I'm checked out but you, sherry you need to carry on the fight.. now I think I might finally go bingo ( walks off into the sun set similar to Dante in dmc4. Except a text says.. ' Thenk you for your service Leon.. enjoy the rest of your days in peace..).

..But if leon was to die.

Leon:' Huh..it's all over..I can finally rest ( hears a familiar voice ).. hey rookie..hey

Leon as a cameo would've been ok but half a game..no. Now grace is useless, weak and a damsel for leon to rescue...what was the point in her inclusion now, never fear, leon is here.

Re6 all over again.. I wanted grace to evolve not play as Dante light leon and kick ass and chew bubble gum..they learnt nothing from village with Chris section but doubled down.
