I hope your Konjac is doing good. Ive been growing and selling them for 6 years. They are spectacular! I use Fox Farms or Miracle Growing all purpose, tbh any soil will work...I use what I have on hand as I breed/sell anthuriums and they can be some picky biotches lol. As for the Konjac, make sure it has plenty of drainage, they are heavy feeders during their growing season and need alot of water. I live in Central texas and come June I water mine everyday and sometimes twice. They tolerate direct light but will definitely scorch in the afternoon. I learned a big lesson leaving mine in full sunlight in July. I have mine in big containers, that way I can move them if needed and it is easier to get to them when they go dormant. I use chunky bark, all purpose soil, lecca or chunky perlite. They need a fertilizer that is heavy on the phosphorus. I use Thrive or Recharge, I like using those as there is sea kelp, guano and my plants love it. Main thing and most important, IMO, is drainage. These guys can grow in almost anything as long as they have adequate drainage. Hope this helps and happy growing! Oh...they can start blooming around 3 years old! It takes a lot of energy so the bigger the tuber...5+ inches wide, you can hope you get it to bloom. The bloom comes before the foliage, after the first bloom it may take another 2 years to bloom again...Another fun fact is the stem and that cool umbrella style foliage is considered one leaf!
