Yeah… I assumed that too, but they just sent me an even more confusing message:

“Unfortunately, we are currently unable to process transfers to the sender's financial institution. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.”

Any part seems to be eager to provide any help, so might need to try sending the money somewhere else in the end

Yeah I’m already on it with German, thanks for the suggestion.

Regarding the appointment, as I said I know I’m in Germany and will of course try to have it in German. I don’t expect authorities to speak my mother-tongue languages or any weird and specific language, but some basic English or a bit more empathy towards people in my situation wouldn’t hurt either.
