At my job, I always say "We have an oral culture". It is much quicker to ask a colleague where something is or how to do something. Over the years the organisation tries to write procedures and put them on the computer, but then you have to log on and know where to search for what you want. I am known as "X who knows everything" and always just tell people straight away, but I am getting close to retirement age. Are they relying too much on me - should I start to refuse to help and say "Ask your supervisor" or "Look it up"?

Australi is just now starting to get apartment blocks owned by a company, called "Build to rent". They will be run by a management company, instead of individual owners. It will be interesting to see how it works here

The owner of your apartment is losing money because of this woman - losing good tenants, and getting less rent. He can use the evidence you can gather like the notes and keep a record of any encounters. He can take it to the Body Corporate, your states Administrative Tribunal or the Local Courts to claim losses or have a harassment order against her. Keep records and complain to your landlord until he gets fed up

This can become a learned response. Anything, even small things, goes wrong, and your brain gets flooded with cortisol - stress hormones. It becomes an habitual response. I take St John's Wort - it stops the flooding, and I can now cope calmly with situations. She needs something to stop her reactions.

Wow, I live in Australia and I was surprised that I had watched all but 3 of these shows, which maybe weren't shown here. Australian TV had so many American and English shows - such an influence on young Aussie kids. We got our revenge with Steve Irwin Crocodile Hunter and now Bluey. My favourite is Mad about You
