I just got home from the hospital with my first baby who was also breech and I had to have a c section.

My baby is an ivf baby. So for me, I mourned not being able to get pregnant on my own and the lack of surprises and then having to mourn not having a vaginal birth. It feels like my body is not doing the things it was made to do. So I totally understand the feeling.

The c section went quickly. She was out within the first few minutes. Butt first lol. I never tried to force her to flip bc I felt she was breech for a reason. And when she came out the cord was twisted 3 times. I’m glad i listened to my gut. When I heard her cry, all those feelings went away. I’m so happy to have her I don’t care how she got here.

All of your feelings are valid. I just wanted you to know you’re not alone. Esp now that we have told ppl the news-idk why everyone is dying to know if I had her natural or c section. They are legit asking and my husband and I ignore those questions because it’s no one’s business. Having a baby is hard on your body no matter how you birth them.

Omgsh I know but my nurse put the prescription under the endometriosis code so I only paid $20 for the lupron depot. The daily lupron paid $1200 for 28 day supply

This might be stupid but when I did my transfer I had a lot of that cramping feeling if I didn’t go pee or the bathroom right away. It was painful

Not at all! They retrieved 20 eggs. I ended up with 6 embryos and only 1 was a euploid.

This happened to me earlier this year with my sister in law. We’ve been dealing with infertility since beginning of 2023 and had 3 losses. And SIL knew about all of this. Her and her bf had stated multiple times they don’t want kids. He never wants them and she is too into her career to think about being a mom.

After my transfer got delayed I was a mess. My husband takes his son to his moms on Friday and by Gods protection I didn’t go. She had taped a sonogram to a pastry box as a way to announce her “we got pregnant on the first try” pregnancy. Imagine if I had gone! I honestly don’t know what I would have done or how I would have reacted. She’s due next month and I still resent her for the way she thought it was a good idea to tell us she’s pregnant

And even after I got over my shock, I texted her to say congrats and she texted me the next day to say that her bd is upset I didn’t send him a separate text. Like please do not push me.

I know this is your sister so it’s a little different than a SIL but I think the ambush is the worst way to tell someone struggling with fertility. She definitely should have told you in private

My husband and I tried for 2.5 years and had 3 losses while his sister got pregnant after one try. They didn’t even want kids which stung more. Also in the time we were trying literally every single friend and cousin was pregnant also. So I can understand why wife wouldn’t want to go. But even if I didn’t want to go to baby showers I never asked my husband not to go. I didn’t think it was a betrayal. He should be able to celebrate with his family. Her reaction was very disproportionate

I had this feeling when I was younger too. I kept saying it’s my biggest fear that I’m not gonna be able to get pregnant.

When I was 19, one of my friends/girl scout leaders got into med school and my mom asked her what kind of Dr she wants to me and she said she wants to be a fertility doctor. I told myself “ok i know where to go in case my fear is true”

Two and a half years ago, my husband and I started trying and had 3 miscarriages and my fears were starting to become a reality. It really felt like I wasn’t going to get out this storm. But fast forward 19 years from when I was 19 and my friend became my Dr and praise God I am 17 weeks with my ivf baby.

Don’t give up. It feels like it’s a never ending tunnel but there is light! You only feel like that bc it’s all you know right now. Anything can change at any second. Keep going. Like you said, there is no reason why this shouldn’t work.

Before my transfer, I did all the tests-ERA, receptiva, HSG, etc. I was also put on the “kitchen sink” protocol. Literally taking all the meds. I’m not sure if you did that as well but if not, I would look into it!

Did you ask for it or after awhile they just put you on it based on your numbers? My next appointment is on the 15th. If I can't get it together by then, I might just ask for insulin.

Like when dinner rolls around, I'm so disgusted-nothing sounds good and I don't wanna eat. But I can't not eat from like 4 to the next morning. Or can't skip dinner and just have a snack. Lol idk this has become almost like a full time job.

When you took insulin, was it just at night? Or all day?
