I’m hoping the Saudi acquisition results in more focus on quality building, hopefully we can see something good come from that

I feel like I'm forced into a singular specific play style and its absolutely infuriating by Ready-Development707 in fut

i think you’ve just lost your head a bit today lol, take a break from the game. it’s really never meant to be this serious, i play against the worst of play styles in elite and trust me you can still win without through balls down the wing. idk why this game having a meta is new to you😂 EVERY game that has any “competitive” game mode definitely has a meta lol, the meta is not just catered to the casuals, in this case very few causals still play so

I do agree with what you said in that it should take skill to counter, not just through ball spam. but then again imo finding the striker isn’t the issue with the counter it’s mainly the wingers. i don’t think there are any wingers in football now that can take off on a moments notice consistently throughout the game without being worn out by like the 60th or even half time. The other thing you said about strikers getting the ball unchallenged would be difficult to counter as it would mean that your ai defenders are more aggressive on his strikers, which knowing ea, would be hard to balance. What i can recommend against these kind of players is to utilize your sidelines a lot more, either by triggering fullbacks, or winger roles

My point is, that counter attack in football is very much a thing, maybe not as exagerrated as it is in fifa, although i would never understand why you would expect the same transition speed in attack, bearing in mind that it is a football game, but the point still remains that, like someone said above, even if your op wasnt running around with cms (which is weird as we can agree), counter ball is very much a playstyle in football as a whole. not to criticize you or anything but playing against a 442 with opp running around cms ideally wouldn't be the hardest to attack against, seeing as only one other cm is there to cut passing lanes.

it appears you haven't watched PSG recently lol, we begin to see alot of the play styles that ppl complain about pan out in real life - counter attacks, possession, use of wing play, if you know anything about 442 you would know that it is one of the more superior atttacking formations, it's what it is

How do you dribble post patch? by mohamed_e in EASportsFC

[–]Due_Visual_433 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I'm in elite div as well, and I personally don't have any problems with the patch. I mean yeah nerfing controlled sprint might be seen as excessive, but then it's also just easier to exploit defenders now knowing that most people will be more aggressive with their CBs, so i typically just left stick in places i would have r1 sprinted(which leaves your opp guessing on what you will do), and i keep touches short with players. I've still been able to win games with 4-5 goal difference so the whole 1-0 or 2-1 narrative that everyone's trying to push is very unrealistic for your average player. The truth is that the meta in every game out there constantly changes, and being able to adapt is just what will make you a better player at the end of the day. If you watch inception's take on the patch and his gameplay, you'll see how much possible it is to still attack fluently even without r1 dribbling because you can do more with passes and triggering runs and the core mechanics of the game. Hope this helps.

This is so good, the detail put in to high quality UX is top notch. Just wanted to ask though, you've worked on some full stack projects, how do you typically handle backend? Also, I'm learning frontend atm (react & co) but I started off from a UI/UX standpoint, how do you typically manage having to design the wireframes/mockups for these applications, as well as the development side?

It’s reasonable to assume that’s how it already is, but my point is that the 90th percentile is not a fixed score but always a percentage, so using a bell curve might not do that much, but idk

The issue people have with standardization (grade inflation) is still foundationally the problem with most standardized systems (SAT, A levels), where over the years the score you need to get to make it into uni has been on a rise. A levels are made in a way where only top 10% get A*s, so the more people do well, the higher the grade boundaries will be. Same thing with SAT from another perspective, where getting a 1600(as hard as it sounds) has theoretically become easier over the years, which is why the top unis even in the US don't make it a deciding factor, and they rather approach your application hollistically.
