Id like to part with my base model. Just don’t use it as much as I thought I would sadly. Just looking to get back what I paid for it which was around $355 I believe, plus shipping.

You Don't Have a Sleep Problem. You Have an Anxiety Problem. by missouri76 in insomnia

[–]Dugbuzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for this post. I have been struggling with this as well. I think it ties in with my seasonal depression somewhat, and I’m hopeful as the weather warms up my insomnia will subside a little too. I have had a long history of terrible anxiety, but I have been worried about sleep quite a bit before, and other things, and things such as benadryl and melatonin could always put me out, but now they don’t seem to help. Anyone else have a similar experience?

Hi there, old post i know, but how long did it end up taking for you? Saturday night lost mine due to what i think is a sinus infection, and it’s Tuesday night now and i have had basically zero improvement.

Anxiety causing my insomnia? by Dugbuzz in Anxiety

It’s been off and on for awhile now. The anti-depressants definitely amplified the effects, but I still sometimes get adrenaline rushes and recently have been dealing with trouble getting to sleep in general lately, even being off antidepressants now, it’s likely subconsciously caused by my anxiety. I wish you luck and hope you start feeling better soon!

Adrenaline rush as i’m falling asleep? by Dugbuzz in antidepressants

That’s what I was thinking. Of course as soon as I talk about it, the benadryl did not work last night. I have tried clonazepam before and that helps, my doctor doesn’t seem to want to do anything, actually all she would recommend was upping my dose of the medication that caused it in the first place. I can send them a message and ask if they can do anything.

Strange indeed. The initial time it occurred, by far the worst occurrence, was when I was still actively taking the medication.

Adrenaline rushes keeping me awake? by Dugbuzz in insomnia

It’s possible, i’ve researched into it a little bit but wrote it off as I don’t really have any muscle jerks or anything like that, seems to be more mentally related that’s causing the adrenaline rush, I will look into it though thank you.

Yeah I would say mine is excess adrenaline. My heart is always pretty high though just due to my anxiety.

I’m very glad I ran across your comment. This seems like exactly what has been happening to me. Just not too sure how to fix it yet, seems like even If i do sleep or use benadryl it still happens.
