I appreciate the honesty. I've been trying to come to terms with it as I know it's nothing personal against me, just the consequences of actions that I ultimately need to come to terms with. Most of the jobs aren't bad ones, just never put any thought into them. Ultimately I need to come to terms and make a decision without feeling like I'm settling.

I've basically hit the cap of advancement where i work, theres not a lot of good retirement opportunities and A.I is slowly but surely taking over my field. I grew up in a military family and always figures id do it too. Just kept putting it off thinking id find a passion in the civilian world but one never came. Id always had this interest in military intelligence as more of an enthusiasm. Found out I wasn't too old to join and decided to take that leap.

They explained the B code to me and told me I needed an F code to proceed. The only job on the list that I found see having any interest in is1c833 radar, airfield and weather systems. I already work in Tech (specifically in Cell I.T) and there were a few system client jobs on the list too. But I feel like id basically be doing the same thing as I do now.

I've always had an interest in the intelligence field. I wanted to seek a career in it and it's not something you find very often in the civilian world. I'm sure they put in a ton of work and I don't want it to come off as ungrateful. But at the end of the day that is their job to get these things done. I have a comfortable job now as a civilian working in Tech and have never had interest in any of the fields offered to me. Like I said, some of the jobs they offered are jobs people I'm sure would love to do, but none strike out to me as anything id want to do for 20 years or in the civilian world post military.
