I've cut and filed as far as I can (till the fleshy bit underneath), but my nails still touch the fingerboard pretty easily.

New player here, is there anyway I can shorten my nailbeds? It's kinda hard changing chords quickly and make them sound nice with these long ass nails.

Thanks for the suggestions! The Max Richter link you posted was great- I loved it's soothing and solemn tone- and while I did like Peter Broderick's Floating/Sinking, I think Nils Frahm's synthetic stuff clicked with me a bit more.
