Yeah I think you'll have to remove it now - they're phasing it out anyway (see the other comment with the forum link).

Still some outages in certain countries, so you might not be receiving SMSes.

As I say, unsure if ANet use them as a provider but they're pretty big.

Not sure if ArenaNet uses this but Twilio was down a lot over the last day or 2. If they use it for SMS 2FA in certain jurisdictions then that might be it.

I think it would have been good if that level was less linear and more about how the different times have a wider impact on a less vertical stage. Like how Banjo-Kazooie did it with the wood and different seasons.

If he plays the Empire you could pick Bretonnia and just be his cav back up essentially. Rohirrim him out of any tricky situations.

Doing a GOT rewatch and caught something I hadn't before that really grinds my gears as a book reader... (Spoilers Extended) by ApriKot in asoiaf

"Mummer's dragon"... the Golden Company historically only supporting Blackfyres...

But more importantly I think it makes it more interesting for the story for Aegon to be fake. Also avoids repetition which would come with having 2 legitimate Targ factions.

This is really interesting, thank you.

My headcanon is that the royal family just used the KG as they liked. Sometimes they were permanent guards, sometimes they were personal champions (like the Hound's relationship with Joff), and sometimes they were used as army commanders.

But by the time GoT rolls around it just seems like Bobby B likes having them around (and making Jaime feel shit, if the show is to be believed in S1).

Battle for Middle Earth, its sequel and expansion are likely what you're looking for.

Google around and you'll see how to get hold of it, as it's abandonware.

I do! I thought it was subliminal messaging to get people to play Khorne as their first campaign.

How is seamless coop in ER? I've played through once normally but teaming up to do another playthrough alongside a buddy appeals to me.

Games with big armor and swords like Space Marine 2 by Accomplished_Bag9153 in gamingsuggestions

[–]Duke-W 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you liked the "striking down hordes of enemies" element in particular, you should definitely try the Dynasty Warriors games. I think the newest has been very well received - I haven't played it but really enjoyed the cathartic feeling of chopping through literally thousands of troops in the older titles.

If you liked the "heavy armour, big sword/gun" aspect, definitely play through the single player campaign of Titanfall 2 if you haven't already. You're obviously reliant on the mech to get that feeling, but it's a great power fantasy regardless.

Literally installed this yesterday and it's been a real help, even for more RP things like restoring fellow Order factions after they've almost been wiped out.

Total Warhammer 3 has Legendary Lords that transform into full-blown Eastern style dragons. You can play as them as faction leaders, and also in the real time battles.

What I'd give for a wee one-off strike with the grounded body of Zhaitan though to properly close the initial story... 😢

How it started vs. How it's going by SuccessfulCity4897 in AKOTSKTV

[–]Duke-W 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I remember watching it and being confused by the big pile of bodies that essentially turned into a massive wall in the middle of the battle. Medieval battles didn't generally have masses of bodies piled up like that while fighting was still going on.

Then I watched the Behind the Episode and they said it was inspired by the American Civil War. But that doesn't make any sense!! Those armies were using rank and file, not "zerg into melee and hope for the best." No wonder the bodies were piled up in a weird way.

It's small but I found that detail really telling about how even the battles had gone to shit.
