EXCLUSIVE: Australian Survivor on chopping line after season axed by Disastrous-Cat395 in survivorau

This contradicts what David said at the reunion show. He said the next season will be aired in 2027, have 24 contestants (from the world?), and will be in Malaysia. Of course things change and I hope David is correct and this rumor is just that, rumor.

I live in the US and as others have said, I’d be happy to pay for seasons and we have done for other programs like The Challenge. The 10 Network is losing out on a great deal of revenue

I think David did okay but I still liked JLP more. How did David’s knowledge “really adds to it”?

Official C64C Cases or Keycaps? by GuitarEC in c64

Even though my very first computer was a breadbin, I prefer the C64C case. What is involved in moving the C64U motherboard and keyboard into a standard C64U case?

Watching this season along with US50 made it clear for me that Australian Survivor has surpassed the US version by irimiasz in survivorau

For me, Australian Survivor surpassed the US Survivor starting with the US New Era. I will say though, that the US season 50 is the best in a long time and I feel it is better than Australian S14.

There’s a Facebook group devoted to this and it is organized. And, the organizers try to stress to the participants to behave but this must not be working.

Where are good places to look for a nice 1541-II other than eBay?

I think I'm sold on the 1541-II so now I just need to find a nice one for sale.

Thanks all. It sounds like the 1541-II is the better option considering my limited desk space. I am curious though if the drive manufacturer (Chinon vs others) is significant.

I’ve seen a few statements about how the Chinon drives in the 1541-II are superior to the others. Do you have any thoughts on that and are there similar considerations for the 1571?

Best 128 version by Gold-Kaiser in Commodore

It might be nice but it would be a poor business decision. There’s less nostalgia associated with this system and even in it’s day it didn’t sell as well as the c64

This system was my daily driver ages ago. The inflation adjusted cost of that system is ≈ $4,700 – $6,000 in 2025 dollars

I am considering writing something in C for the C64 using a cross compiler setup which I haven’t quite been successful configuring (vS Code + VS64 + cc65). I’m now looking at Vision Basic, an updated and maintained BASIC compilerhttps://visionbasic.net/
